Favorite Restaurant
I have tried a number of things from their menu; everything has always been delicious. This spot is where i go when I want a hearty meal. The portions are huge.

hey! "what happened"
this place use to be my & husbands fav "Dominican" (i know they do mex, cuban & stuff) but, it's mainly "Dominican." Anyway, about 3 yrs ago this place was the best but, suddenly the strangest things started happening the deliveries took forever, you don't always get what you ask for but, what they give you & quality of the food is very bad. like i said this use be a great place & i still like the owners (their great people but, their food & service went sour. p.s. maybe they'll try to fix it. sorry : (

bleh
after taking 20 minutes to explain to the delivery guy that he was at the wrong apartment, the order was misinterpreted, and what we ended up getting was of course cold. and it wasn't too good either.

Very good all around
If you enjoy spanish/mexican food this place has probably some of the most authentic tasting cuisine I have had. Being from arizona you cant really get anything comparable but even though this place leans on the spanish variant it is very good. Also, one thing about mexican/spanish places here, many times the waiters/waitress's will be very borderline rude, this did not happen here. I really suggest this place, especially if clinton st bakery has an hour and a half wait.

Gotta try the Cuban!
The Cuban sandwich is delicious and it is one of the best deals in Manhattan. The people are very friendly as well.
