For a wonderful and unique dinning exerpience...
So let’s get the directions out of the way…please do not travel to Emmons Avenue…Clemente's address is 3939 Emmons Avenue but the restaurant is not on Emmons Avenue. Like the other reviewer stated I called the restaurant and received detailed directions…but we were only about 5 minutes away so the directions are not that far off. Take the Belt Parkway West to Exit 9, the restaurant is in front of Exit 9. When leaving get back onto the Belt Parkway. The food is DELICIOUS!!!!! Please try the crab chowder, it is the best we have ever had, the crab flavor was intense and sooooooo delicious. The all you can eat crabs --- unless you are a huge blue crab eater order the 12 crabs and share at will. You are unable to share the all you can eat order, but I promise you will not be able to get beyond the first batch on your own. Try mixing the seasoning --- half butter and garlic and half old bay seasoning, sit back and enjoy with a glass of wine. If you prefer a ritzy dinning experience then Clemente’s not the place for you. The atmosphere is laid back and there may be groups celebrating someone’s birthday. My girlfriend (who is more like a sister) and I had a wonderful time. We laughed with the group behind us as they sang happy birthday. We will be back to Clemente’s many more times with more family members and friends. We are also looking forward to going back during the hot summer days and sitting on the deck…acknowledging that we will most likely have to wait for a table versus walking in and choosing a table, we arrived at approximately 9:30pm. I have seen other reviews who dumped on Clemente’s if I had paid complete attention to those reviews we would have missed a wonderful dinning experience. Clemente’s rocks!

escaping new york.. without leaving brooklyn
We got COMPLETELY lost on the way out to the other end of brooklyn, our gps was no help so we called the restaurant, a very lovely waitress on the other end laughed and explained that google and gps gets it wrong and she gave wonderful turn by turn directions (very close to where the gps had mislead us). Upon arrival I was rather skeptical, however walking into and through the restaurant to the outside all doubts were erased, it was like I was in New England. The wait was long but the bartenders were friendly and the drinks were cold. After waiting about an hour we finally sat and got to enjoy raw oysters and clams, followed by the all you can eat maryland blue crabs, our waitress was very friendly and even though the restaurant was packed she was still very attentive. The place is cash only but they do have an ATM. Cannot wait to go back! pro's: atmosphere, food, drinks, staff con's: long wait (but thats what the bar is for!) and hard to find

Disappointed
I was very disappointed! Upon arrival I was told there was a 45 minute wait-which was fine. I waited with my mother at the bar (very nice bar tenders) for one and a half hours. The hostess kept reassuring us that a table was coming available, yet she seated walk-ins ahead of us. Finally after being seated I ordered the king crab legs for my entrée. The portion was entirely too small for 30 dollars! It was actually one king crab leg. The part that made me even more upset was when I explained to the waitress that the plate looked skimpy; she told me no one else had complained about the portion size before. I highly doubt that. This restaurant is known for its all you can eat Maryland crabs, so one King Crab leg surrounded by skimpy salad greens is unacceptable. I had been to Clemente’s before and was completely satisfied. Unfortunately I doubt I will be going back there anytime soon. I did not leave feeling like that my money was well spent.
