As soon as I walked in the smell was amazing from the wood burning oven. The pizza man was very helpful, the waitress was awesome. Came to find out they were brother and sister and also the owners of the place. I like that it was a family business, definitely coming back

We were enticed to eat here after getting a whiff of the garlic coming out the open windows. The food was tasty and worth the price, but the service was pretty terrible. The waitress was spacey. She told us she'd bring us bread, 10 minutes later it finally arrived. Same thing with water. And she didn't appear to be busy, she spent most of the time behind the bar organizing papers and talking to other employees.. And when we asked her more about a certain bottle of wine, she said it's your standard red table wine. A little more info would've helped.

The food was average. The service slightly below average

Love the old authentic look, the food was great. My waitress made me feel at home. Place is family owned and everyone on my table enjoyed every minute of it.

We ended up here last night because the wait at nearby place was too long and I'm so glad of it. They specialize in pizza from their wood burning oven, but also have plenty of pastas and entrees to choose from. Our party, 3 adults and a pre-schooler, had 2 pizzas, a pasta, a side of meatballs, bruschetta and a beet salad and we loved all of it. The pizzas are "personal size" but pretty big (we brought a bunch of it home as leftovers) and really delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive and kids would definitely be welcome here. The prices were super reasonable, especially for this neighborhood. The only negative might be that some people might be bothered by the smoke smell of the wood-burning oven (which came home with me on my hair and clothes). I like the smell personally, but others might not. We'll definitely be returning to Claudine's and adding it to our takeout repertoire. Big thumbs up!
