Just what a Pub should be
I live in the neighbourhood and am a regular at Clancy's. I think I can say I know the place very well. The food is good, the staff is pleasant, the atmosphere is nice, and the value is exceptional. What more can one ask for?

Awesome Pub Food
This place has awesome pub food. I suggest the cornbeef if it is on the special menu, if not the black jack burger is great! I have been there a few times and service has always been great and staff really nice! I would totally recommend this place and they have nice back room as well.

Worst food and service!!!!
Went there with my family and had the worst experience with rude service and horrible food. The server forgot my brother's hamburger and instead of admitting that they forgot it, they give him a completely raw hamburger. The service is also poor and the staff unfriendly.

Good Pub
Clancy's is the neighbourhood watering hole, our local, the pub. Food is fine, staff is friendly, and atmosphere is good. A very comfortable pub.

Kudos
Recently I craved Pub food and headed down to 2nd Ave. I was very pleased to find excellent food, served by wonderful people, in a great atomsphere. The interior ensnares you in a web and the people and food hold you there. If you want pub fare on the East Side, look no farther.

Skip this bar and go somewhere else
You should come here if you want: (1) rude service from the waitress who can't give you the time of day even though the bar is 1/4 full (2) even ruder bartenders calling your Asian friend a derogatory term when your group spends more than $400 on drinks in three hours and you want to order a couple waters (3) meathead bouncers who pushes people around, and doesn't think twice before putting others two females in harms way in trying to get their message of "we don't like your kind here even if you gave us a ton of business" and (4) managers who feigns apology for the actions that transpired in points 1-3, then mockingly yells "shalom" to your Jewish friends as you leave and they lock their doors behind them on a Friday night at 2:30am. If there are negative stars in the rating system, this is the one place that deserves it.
