    Could be better

I enjoy the atmosphere but I wish that the barmaids were much more lively. The drinks are great the food is good only problem is the barmaids are not lively and present tired and are not communicative. Overall rating is a 8 from a 1-10, feels like I am in the village except what previously mentioned!

    Nothing to rave about

Went there last night. I make better ribs at home. Way too much sauce covering up the taste of the ribs. The sides were bland. Mashed potato was just that and nothing else had gravy with it but the gravy was bland too. Broccoli and cheese was bland too. Spinach was ok. Corn bread hard like it had been sitting around all day, tasted like it was out of a box. Got an order of brisket to bring home for another family member....that was a total waste of money. Fatty and again totally covered with BBQ sauce. I will say once you got past all the extra sauce the baby back ribs were ok and tender. We sat at booth and could hardly see what we were eating it was so dim. I would not recommend this place. Not sure who they think their clientele is....season your food better.

    Love that White Sangria!

VERY happy with City Rib. I have been there 3 or 4 times and like it more each time I go there. My favourite is the Brisket - it's big and filling; usually take half of it home! The atmosphere is everything you could want: warm and inviting yet trendy and private enough for a business lunch....and if you're having drinks after work, you must try that White Sangria!

Village ambiance in good ole Jamaica!!

Went with a large group for my birthday; we had a blast! Service was phenomenal! Everyone was friendly and attentive. Our waitress and the manager went out of their way to be accommodating. And the live jazz was off the chain. Can't wait to go back. The food honestly was just good. It wasn't hot but not cold enough to send back and could have been a little more seasoned for my taste but I enjoyed everything overall. I would still recommend the place. Definitely going back!

Wonderful Local Resaturant, great sit down restaurant after a movie!

Ate here once, food was very good I was pleasantly surprised! Had the BBQ chicken with their Queens sauce which is a mustard type of sauce with twang. At first, not thoroughly reading the menu, I was like why is my sauce orangish lol. But it was delicious. Will go back. Great to have a nice sit down restaurant close to home! And they do take out when you have to eat on the run!

CityRib is the place to be at!

OMG finally a good fun place to eat right here in queens! CityRib is well named. BBQ with 2 amazing sauces. You can choose either the Kings or Queens sauce. The Kings which I had with my short ribs was more of a tomato sauce with a spicy kick to it. The Queens sauce was a mustard type of sauce that also had a certain tangy taste. I can't decide which one I like better. Atmosphere was great and the service was even better! If you're in the Queens area or just happen to be craving that BBQ feeling then you need to make your way over to CityRib.
