Salad bar is especially awesome!
Unlimited toppings Salad Bar is so great, fresh, and tasty. Can't go wrong!

Amazing!
City Market Cafe is marvelous. They have great food. I work in Manhattan but I live in brooklyn so i can go to the one by my work for lunch and the one by my house for breakfast. It's wonderful! The chef is great and he always puts his customer first. I dont care what anyone else say i love city market!

going down hill!
I would not suggest going to this city market cafe. it used to be a place where you could steadily find something somewhat healthy in this area, and the food was always good quality. Lately it sucks. Everytime I go in there for lunch it seems like the employees are in a race to get you to order as quick as possible. then once they serve you its sloppy. i think they are trying to push stuff that doesnt sell. last week at 3pm I got a rancid vegetable panini that was soggy from being in the display, the server seemed to notice but try to pass it off on me anyways...then today I got a salad that was ruined by this very watered down dressing that tastes like nothing (supposedly honey dijon, ithink it was 85% water). dont bother going.

A Fresh Place on a dirty, tired street
City Market Cafe has wonderful food! excellent (create-your-own) salad bar and plenty of fresh ingrdients to choose from. their homemade pizza is also quite good. a bit pricey, but so is everywhere else in this area. the people here are very friendly and helpful.
