    Slow Seafood Service!

I and a business associate went here on Friday March 1st, 2013 for lunch after a meeting we had in the diamond district with a client. It was a place he had seen and wanted to try since we both agreed we wanted a more healthy bite to eat rather than the t

An excellent prix-fixe menu and oysters

Came for the 99 cent oysters and ended up having an early dinner due to the awesome prix-fixe menu. We had 18 raw oysters, baked oysters, steamed lobsters, a key lime pie and some kind of cheesecake creme brulee hybrid. Food was delicious and satisfyin

    don't waste your money

I went with my friends to City lobster and steakhouse for restaurant week dinner. We had to wait 20 min for our table (we made reservation 2 weeks before we went) and when we got to the table we only had 4 menus for 5 people. After 15 minutes we had t

    Subpar

    A great night in midtown

We had a lovely dinner at City Lobster & Steak. $1 oysers were great, all 24 of them. My wife had the "Angry" lobster and I really enjoyed their original recipe crab cakes. The wine list is big enough to accomodate a wide variety of palates, and budgets!

    Good but not worth price

Two of us came for Restaurant Week prix fixe dinner. Appetizers—baked oysters and calamari; both nicely prepared, fresh, calamari lightly fried, aioli sauce with a kick, oysters were tasty. Entrees—cioppino was good, a crab leg and a lobster claw, n

    Service killed the night

Decided to check this place out with friends last night-had reservations, table wasn't ready right away so we went to the bar for a drink where the server convinced us to stay for dinner. Wish we would've declined-service was poor. Server was rude, and sl
