A great place for delivery, any time of day or night. Burgers are fantastic but specify "deluxe" if you want fries! Entrees are hit or miss - better for the basics.

I had breafast at the diner. The food was ok, the service was good, and the atmosphere was fairly ok. I enjoyed my french toast but the sausage was not good at all. If it wasn't for the handsome chef I would have rated my experience there as not one of the best but he made up for it.

I have been coming to this diner since I was a little girl when it was argo's. The name has changed but the quality and prices are still great, people are friendly, some of the staff has been there for years. The food is good, they got something for everybody. I will continue to eat at this diner for many years to come.

To say that that City Diner's food is sub-par would be misleading. As a diner their food is what is to be expected or better, and usually good. City is the best diner in the area. Still, it could be much better.

I've only ever had the pancakes here and they're the best I've had from an NYC diner. Its a diner that is not bad, so that means it's good.

As a previous reviewer wrote - no awards to give to this restaurant, unless there is an award for a good, dependable, decent-food-serving diner. The food is good, the prices are decent, the service is decent in the NYC-diner sort of way. Stick with the basics here and you can't go wrong!

The food is not good for its price, but if you are looking for a diner atmosphere you'll find it here. Great coffee.
