Im from England and when I visited New York in February '11 I came across this diner and for the whole 4 days I stayed in New York I had breakfast here everymorning, the pancakes were lovely and the services was fast. The whole of my college group who was on the trip (around 30 of us) ended up eating there towards the end cause it was the best place around the area we were staying. Highly recommended and also very friendly people.

One random night, I got the munchies at 2 in the morning and realized their was 0 food in my house. So what did I do? I went online and looked up all night delivery restaurants, and I found this! The food was good, I got cheese ravioli (a little plain but I really liked it,) mozzarela sticks, (YUM) and soup of the day (really unexpectedly good- I'd never tried asparagus soup but now I know I love it) which came with my entree! I thought that was pretty cool. The guy over the phone was really nice, and the delivery guy was amazingly dedicated. I buzzed the guy into my apt. building and he seemed to be taking a very long time on the elevator, so I called the restaurant again to see what was up ( my building has two sides to it with different apt. letters on each side so I was worried he got lost) but it turned out that my elevator was broken and he had walked up all nine flights to deliver my food without so much as a call or complaint! I was shocked and touched by his awesome service! And, again, all at 2 in the morning! All and all, I will definitely be calling on them again, (even earlier in the night when other places are still open) and may even venture forth out of my apt. to actually pay them a visit! But most of all, they will always remain my designated after-hours food source right here on the upper west side.

I have loved coming to this diner for years. I remember living in the Bronx and thinking of coming to this place. I consider it a NYC treasure. Everything I've tried I have loved but I especially come out for the Bacon Cheeseburger with steak fries. The potato skins are great and if you love salads you won't be dissatisfied especially when you realize all the dressings are home made and not store bought. The place is also great for their breakfast. Service is good and the wait time is short. Keep in mind this is a Diner folks and not a 5 star restaurant. So for what it is it's a great place.

The only thing worthwhile spending your money here would be a simple breakfast, appetizer or a burger. Everything else sucks and or just tastes stale, not to mention food here is way overpriced for the quality. Do yourself a favor and order from Europan, food there are reasonably priced and quality is so much better. The only advantage this place has is it delivers 24/7 and service is good.

i have never been here and I just ordered 1 single delivery for steak salad. That being said, the steak was so tough that i could not eat it. It also had staled taste to it. It was the worst steak salad I have ever had. Romaine lettuce and other ingredients were not below par. But the steak was to a point that i could not eat at all. I wont order from here ever again. Whatever you do, just dont order steak from here.

I don't know why anyone would eat dinner at a diner. This place is fablous for breakfast, burgers, salads, sandwiches. The service is usually excellent, in or by delivery. If they ever close, I am leaving NY.
