If you don't serve it, I can't eat it.
Happy hour. Quite empty. 2 bartenders, not really doing anything. 15 minutes, no service, not even a Hi. Walked out with my wife. Most likely will not be back, too many places with good food AND good service.

Overpriced, mediocre food
I went to City Crab to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday and although my expectations were not high, I left with City Crab on my "never again" list. I ordered a mahi-mahi, which I sent back (first time I have ever done that) because it was drenched in the wrong sauce and overcooked. What everyone else ordered was average and forgettable. Service was impersonal and efficient at best. Mediocre food, impersonal service, and high prices - not worth it!

Great Food
I got the Lobster Cobb salad. I figured it would be a Cobb with a little bit of lobster. No way! I got a TON of big chunks of lobster with my salad, a whole tomato, half an avocado, and plenty of bacon. This was a great salad - enormous and plenty to share. I love the atmosphere in this place. It's not some snotty Manhattan restaurant where the tables are right next to each other. It's laid back and the food is fantastic. Best NE clam chowder I've ever had - and I'm from New England!

Generous portions of fresh seafood
The selection of seafood here is fantastic! The crab soup was full of crab chunks and the clam chowder is creamy and full of large clam bits! I've tried their salmon fillet, flounder and shrimp. Each time the fish was fresh and you got a large piece. Worth every penny.

Dinners know the truth
I have been going to city crab for many years. Though I can not justify $75 a pound alaskan crab legs What I can say in their defense is that the food we order here is not cheap, not local, and difficult to prepare properly. There are no better selections, near by atleast. The raw bar has some of the freshest oysters anywhere in the city. The service wasn't half bad, pleasant.

Not So Good
Happy hour... not so happy! In fact there is barely any good deals here. Food quality is not so good. It is an amazing space but I would rather see some other restaurant move in and take it to another level. Too pricey for less than mediocre food.
