Circo

I have been to Le Cirque many times at both locations and never have been disappointed with food or service. I was going to City Center so Osteria del Circo was across the street. I assumed it would have the same quality service and food. We were served cocktails quickly. The waiter did not understand the menu and had to get the manager to help us with a request. An incorrect salad arrived first, the main courses took forever. There was no time for coffee or dessert. The whole atmosphere was disorganized. I think the restaurant needs some fine tuning.

The interior of this restaurant is fabulous, with the silks draped from the ceiling, and quirky clown and monkey characters dotted around. Sounds weird, but it works, and is not at all tacky. Food is excellent, a little pricey, but you do get what you pay for. Very good service from our waiter, he definitely earnt his tip! The only downside was that the Maitre D forgot to bring us our menus (making it a little difficult to order food). This was quickly remedied, and did not spoil the evening.

Went for dinner and had a great time! The atmosphere was fun and not at all stuffy. (I expected it to be since it's connected to Le Cirque) The service was impeccable and we enjoyed everything about dinner. My favorite part of the meal had to be dessert. A little on the pricey side but woth it for a special night out. I plan on coming back for a birthday in a few weeks just for the dessert.

I've been to this restaurant at least 5 times and the service has never been anything but top notch. The Maitre D is a professional who has worked in the business for years and if you let him know that anything is a problem, he will take care of it ASAP. I'm very surprised to read all these bad reviews. I've never had a negative experience here ever. The food is always high quality, as you'd expect from an offshoot of Le Cirque. Desserts are particularly good.

Surprised at the reviews below, but I guess they are old. I have been to this place many times and the food is always delicious, and the service really top notch. You can tell it's family-run, but with class. Desserts are the best part!

Had a delicious lunch there today but waited no less than 25 minutes for our bread, and 45 minutes for our appetizers. Then the entrees came right away, but had to wait another 15 minutes for coffee. Ridiculously bad service given the prices.

We were in a real hurry and the manager was very accomodating and ensure the food came quickly. I had the seafood stew and it was delicious so am surprised by the negative reviews below.
