Great food in a small unassuming resturant. Dont be fooled by the decor, the food here is top notch. Their pizzas are excellent as well. A hidden gem in sheepshead bay.

We ordered for delivery recently and we were told we had to wait 45 minutes - 1 hour for our food, or we could come in 20 minutes for a pick up. We went in and the picked up the food. At home we discovered the back was badly SQUASHED by poor packaging. Sauce is all over my car and in the front entrance of my home. The food was edible, but when we opened our dishes, one of them was supposed to have no tomato sauce, just butter. To my mom's dismay she couldn't eat her meal to her specifications because of the chef's mistake. We called the restaurant and explained the meal to the owner who disrespected her. He apparently did not believe my mom because he checked with the chef about the tomato sauce. We won't be ordering from them again. We will be looking for another, friendlier Italian restaurant in the area.

The food isn't great, but we keep coming back, because Circles is the kind of comfortable neighborhood place hard to find any more. You are on a first-name basis with everyone very quickly, and even though the menu says "no substitutions," we've always gotten any kind of special order we've asked for. Maybe the food is a little too salty, but it's satisfying and the portions are generous. The chicken marsala is a favorite with everyone, and the tortellini with sausage and red sauce is a favorite of ours. The soups served in the winter are good too. Skip the desserts though, except for the tartuffo ice cream. The cakes are always flavorless and it looks like they are purchased from the 99 cent store across the street.

Circles is our favorite neighborhood restaurant. The food is always delicious, and the prices are great! Everyone knows us there, and you feel like you are at a friend's house having dinner. Try the succulent Chicken Marsala, or the delectable Chicken Champignon. Have the Toasted Almond Cake for dessert! Enjoy!
