We order from Circa every single day due to the lack of Kosher restaurants in our area. I have to say that the customer service is nothing but a NIGHTMARE and possibly the worst in NYC. Every single order has some sort of problem ranging from the delivery guy having no change to coming HOURS late (and I am not exaggerating!). While making the order or calling to check on your order- you are put on hold by EXTREMELY RUDE people- usually about 3 times. They will not even let you get a word in! The managers are nothing but rude and unhelpful- I've complained several times about time of delivery and they seem to know NOTHING. One time I ordered at 10:00 for a 1:00 meeting - the order came COMPLETELY WRONG. When I called to speak to a manager- she apologized said she would "rush" it over after explaining how important the meeting was- every 30 minutes I called to check on the order and she constantly assured me that "it was on its way." Well, at 3:30 I spoke to a different manager that told me the order would not be coming and Circa was closed for Shabbat. I don't even understand??? Could no one have told me??? I'm appalled by their lack of concern for such poor service. The food is below average and definitely not worth the stress that comes with the service. By reading these other reviews, I know that I am not alone. If you aren't forced to order from Circa like we are- go somewhere else and save yourself the frustration!!!!

I can only vouch for delivery orders, but we have recently discovered Circa to be unhelpful, and rude in customer service. The response to our inquiries about when our food would arrive have varied from misleading to deceitful. A small order placed 50 minutes before a lunch meeting, with an estimated arrival time of 20 minutes prior to the meeting, has not yet arrived, an hour after the meeting began. When asked about this discrepancy, the response was rude and abrasive. We and our 200+ person office will not be ordering from Circa at all in the future. Our review of the quality of the food and atmosphere is merely speculative at this point.

The improvements that have been made are definetly noticeable and provide for a much more enjoyable circa experience. The food is delicious, the variety is great, and the service has gotten much better. I would definetly recommend it and if you had a poor experience in the past i would give it a second try. I dont know what i would do without it!

Only reason to bother is because it's kosher. Food is nothing special. Delivery service is poor, customer service is poor, ambiance is OK. I come here because it's in the area and i'm hungry. I wouldn't seek it out. Sushi is OK, and the salmon is often decent. (And sometimes not).

I used to order from Circa a lot but it has changed. As the previous posted mentioned, you must always call after putting in an online order beause it does not always go through. One day I did not call them back and an hour later called to see where my food was and they had never received it! I spoke with the manager and all he could say was, "oh well". They always give me wrong stuff, or leave stuff out so because of this it is no longer worth my time to order from them. I have also found their food to be less than fresh more times than not....it's too bad their service and food has gotten so poor it used to be a nice place to order from.

I love their food, but the delivery service is poor. I work less than 15 minutes away and my food was delivered an hour after I was told it would be. Do not trust the confirmation e-mail you receive from them if you order online. Call them immediately to make sure they are actually processing the order and sending someone out. My food was supossed to be delivered at 1:30 and I finally received it at 2:30. I highly recommend taking the time to stop there in person to pick up the food. This is the second time this has happened to me recently and I think I've learned my lesson.
