Lovely when not too crowded
Cipriani Le Specialita is great when it's not too crowded (it's a very small basement space). The food is not exactly cheap but delicious; I love how they have 6-8 warm dish choices every day. The desserts are also super, especially since they have mini pastries for $1 each. Try the tarts--the shell is absolutely delectable. The coffee is definitely a notch above those at American establishments as well.

Review of cipriani le specialita
Absolutely incredible food, authentically Italian and at an affordable price, great friendly service, worth the wait in line. Try the restaurant across the street in Grand Central for a dinner or soiree.

The best in NY
My favorite in NY City because it is not Italian American food, but it is a REAL Italian restaurant. The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is also great (the great majority of the clients is composed by Italians).

Great lunch spot
The lunch deal here is fantastic- for $10, you get a pasta dish, a meat dish, bread, and a beverage- all Cipriani quality food. The serving sizes are generous, and the desserts are also great.
