    Amazing for delivery

I order from here at least twice a week for delivery. The food is always great and the people are extremely helpful and nice. I find that when I eating at other resturants I think how much better and cheaper the food would be at cinema. Also, their in house specials are great values so if you have time, eat in and have a 3 course lunch for under $13. I really wish their in house specials were delivery so I could save but the portions are big enough that each meal becomes 2 for me.

    Poorest Service Ever

I have been here several times, by myself and with as many as 3 others. I have finally given up and will not return. I have never, ever, not even one time had good service here. The food is tasty, but plan on having absolutely nothing on your schedule if you decide to dare it. It is actually almost as if there is no training for service staff, and there definately is no supervision. The service just sucks, there is no other way to put it.

    Most bizarrely poor service ever

I can't even review the food since we never got any. We ordered drinks then an appetizer, and after waiting 5-10 min for our cocktails (and the place was empty, as usual - I see why now!), we flagged down our waiter to remind him of our order. He was rude and dismissive, like he couldn't be bothered to, you know, wait on us. After several more minutes of nothing, the next time we saw him, we asked about the wait and, after more rudeness, asked for the manager his attitude was like "sure, whatever". The manager comes over quickly, which we think is good, and tell him about the wait and rude server. We are completely polite and courteous throughout all of this, but he is dismissive and rude, and basically says that if we don't like the service, we should leave - all the while, we can see the server in the background watching with a smirk. So we leave. Most bizarrely poor service I've ever experience. How does this place stay in business?

    not a picky eater

We are not picky eaters. We are not the types who live to find something wrong with a meal so we can send it back. In fact, we'd be rather embarrassed by that. But when your child's "chicken fingers" are made from the batter-dipped trimmings of the chicken breast, and are accompanied by eight, yes eight burned french fries, for $6.99, you have to complain. When the "Canadian bacon" (ham) in your eggs benedict is ice cold, you have to send it back. When you have to ask twice for some bread because it's been a half hour since you ordered and there's still no food, when your $2.50 cup of regular coffee doesn't get refilled, when you have to wipe the grunge off the high chair with your own wet wipes, not only do you not go back, you feel a duty to warn others not to set food in the Cinema Cafe.

    Very nice

I have eaten once at the Cinema Bistro at 45th and twice at this one. The one on 45th is fancier but both had very good food at a quite reasonable price. The service at the one on 45th street was excellent and the service at this one was good the first time and very good the second time. The last time I was at this one I ate the blackened St. Peters with rice and asparagus as part of their $29.95 fixed price menu. I also had two small crab cakes and a desert as part of the $30 tab. Everything was excellent. The previous time I ate the chorizo pizza on a paper thin, crisp crust with a mesculn salad. It was also very good. The only downside is that the decor is getting a bit tired but that's a small problem.

    Below average, overpriced.

Amazing location, very mediocre food. Chicken in both our meals was dry and tasteless, similar to the chicken you'd get in a hero at a deli. Waiter was way over the top, trying too hard to earn a tip but still managed to forget our water. I left there $50 poorer and regretted every cent of it.

    Don't spend your money there

I had dinner there and we ordered several apps. The food was bland and tasted like they defrosted it and put it into a microwave. I have never in my life tasted food this bad before. The waitstaff acted like they never worked in a resturant before. Unfriendly and rude. I will never ever go back!
