    Always satisfying

Cilantro has become one of our mainstay Mexican restaurants. It wouldn't be anything spectacular in California, but it definitely stands out amongst the lousy options in NYC. Their enchiladas and fajitas are very good. Their salsa is of the pico de gallo variety, and it's also quite tasty. I've been to Cilantro 15-20 times, and service is always stellar. Plus, it's one of the few NYC restaurants to offer free refills on my beloved Diet Coke.

    Amazing Quesadillas

This place has the most amazing chicken quesadillas EVER. The nachos are also good but when you order them they get a little mushy. I definitely recommend this place.

    Best Southwestern in town

My friends and I ate dinner at Cilantro on the UWS and we had a wonderful surprise....the food and service was terriffic! Please do not forget the margaritas, beyond good! A great addition to this neighborhood!

    Sterile atmosphere and mediocre food

Tried this place last night for the first time. The most striking thing is how sterile it feels -- stark white walls, polished wood beams and a fake "fireplace" make you feel like you're in a strip mall in Ohio. Menu is limited to standard fare, nothing adventerous. The mango margarita was good and quite strong for $8. The staff, including the management, pushed us to order more drinks repeatedly, which was very annoying. My enchiladas were dry and tasted like they were recently taken out of a microwave, even though the rice and beans on the plate were room temperature. The staff was very accomodating of my wife's special request, and her salmon was decent but not something to go out of your way for. We also overheard the owner berating our waiter, who promptly came over and tried to push more drinks on us AGAIN. Besides pushing the drinks too hard, the service was good. But the mediocre food and sterile surroundings mean we won't be going back.

    great stuff

I agree finally a good mexican place. Very fresh! Great guac. Strong but tasty frozen margaritas. Veggie fajiatas were good and WHOLE WHEAT tortillas. I might go back right now

Perfect Nacho Dish (Yes, They Deliver)

Ordered the Aztec Nachos... best nachos I've had in years. I'm a picky eater when it comes to using a lot of ingredients on Nachos, but the blend was perfect. Since I ordered the nachos packed in delivery it was harder to eat, but if it was that good in that condition, it must be superb when it's fresh in the restaurant. Great place to eat and reasonable prices.
