I have been eating at this restaurant for over 20 years. The food is excellent! Yellow Rice and beans with anything from porkchops, stew beef, baked chicken or breaded steak. Their mofungo with chuletas is to die for. And you must have a flan for dessert.

    Not recommended

Dry, cold chicken. Hurried and unpleasant service. Who doesn't serve rice and beans with chicken? Shame on you, Cibao. Shame on you.

    Best Cubano in NYC...

Simple, down-home, heart & filling Dominican/Cuban food. Kick-ass mofungo as well. Better by far than any of the other similar options.

The atmosphere and the decor simply aren't very good, but if you look past that, you'll realize that the food is great and filling. I love the pollo al horno and the bistec (the best).

    Culture in a Bottle!

I grew up eating at this resturaunt and even though they've lost their edge in strong flavor, this place still manages to kick it out in the end. It's a wonderful place to just hang out and talk about random things while waiting for your food. I go here a
