A Lovely Little Secret on West 10th
At the risk of having it mobbed, Ciao for Now is one of the best new additions to the West Village cafe/lunch set. The food is so fresh and delicious, like someone made it at home for you. The staff is always super pleasant. And the baked goods aren't achingly sweet.

Seriously underrated local bakery
Shut down for a while due to a manhole fire (!), but it's back serving food. A seriously underrated local spot - try any of the muffins, the not-a-frittata or the egg wraps. Friendly and laid back staff, great for grabbing some breakfast to go. Small seating area in the front if you need to sit.
