    Just phenominal

I cant say enough about the quality of food at this place. The meats are just amazing. Make sure you ask specifically for the lamb chops as they dont bring them out unless you ask. And be persistent, they are worth it! The picanha (top sirloin), the flanks steak, rib eye and beef ribs are all anyone really needs and they are so juicy and delicious. Make sure you try the caipirinha's (brazilian mohito type drink). Overall, this is my new favorite restaurant and I cant wait to go back.

    What you'd expect

The meats are delicious, and the buffet is fresh. It's true even a vegetarian could enjoy it here -- as long as you don't mind the roving animal carcasses that are continually presented to your table. But make no mistake -- churrascarias are all about meat. Plataforma offers almost all the cuts and varieties you'd find in a good churrascaria in Brazil. Of course the prices are drastically higher, but that's New York for you. The decor is beautiful, but I'm knocking a few points off the atmostphere rating for the clientele. They are almost entirely banker types, and overwhelmingly male. We were surrounded by large tables of these guys, boasting of their conquests, and they were so loud it often required extra effort to carry on a conversation over them. Plataforma is authentically Brazilian, but the crowds of striped ties make it impossible to forget you're only a short ride from Wall Street. I will definitely go back, but next time I'll try their midtown location.

    Great Crowd Pleaser

We went there just the two of us the first time, and it's not really a couple restaurant. We returned with a crowd and had a blast. The food is delicious and never ending, the appetizer buffet is a stand alone feast. We all ate way too much and drank a fair bit too. My only snarky point was that desserts were not included but that was not made clear. If we had known that we had to pay extra we wouldn't have bothered. But that is a minor quibble. For the amount of food/attention/fun you get, I think it's moderately priced. Great for both office parties and families. Very lively atmosphere.

    Service with a smile

Churrascaria Tribeca provides its patrons with the best service . And you don't have to be a meat-lover to enjoy this place. I'm not a meat-eater, and I informed the staff that. They were so accommodating ...they even made me two special dishes that were delicious. I would definitely go back. Although it's pricey, it is so worth it. Everyone in my party thought so as well.

    Fun for large parties

This restaurant is quite fun if you with a large party. Go on a night that you are going out after and get the "all you can drink" package. The quality of the meat was a 9 out of 10 and I felt the food and appetizers in Tribeca were better than the midtown location.

Plataforma is by far one of the best restaurants I've ever had the pleasure to experience. The food is delicious and the service is friendly and lightning fast. If you can, this is the perfect place for large group outtings. It's a lot of fun. Not the most romantic restaurant for a first date, but an unforgettable experience nonetheless. The water falls and friday night piano player add a nice touch to justify the price. One suggestion-don't eat too much at the salad bar, you'll want to save as much room as you can for the meat.

    What a Find!

My husband and I discovered this restaurant while surfing your website. And are we ever grateful. The salad bar alone would be worth the price. But to couple that with the incredible meat selection makes this an Atkins wet-dream come true. And as for the service and the atmosphere - well I can't say enough about the place. I only wish I had an additional stomach to bring along to consume all of the wonderful selections that were available. My only suggestion would be to visit this place for lunch. The price is lower, the food is the same, and more importantly you have the rest of the day to digest this incredible meal. You will not be disappointed.
