Although very expensive, the entire meal was delicious. When I went for lunch, it actually wasn't crowded or noisy either. The salad bar was wonderful, the meats were outstanding, and the little dinner rolls were so good. Dessert was great as well!

The food is good, but not excellent. The service is subpar- lots of attitude and not responsive at all (especially since you are paying a lot of money). The salad bar is really good- especially the sushi. A good tourist kind of restaurant- not so much for real NY'ers.

If you go here you will eat into oblivion. if you have a big appetite and love meat, this is a must. Not for the salad-pickers. Try not to get carried away with one item because there are sooooo many things to try here. Every time you turn around Theres someone offering you lamb, chicken, beef, pork, sausages, salmon, prepared a variety of ways. The wines are too expensive. We were stupid to assume that the $52pp included the desserts. They come around with a cart and we ALL grabbed a dessert, thus adding about $70 to our check. The flan was great and so was the chocolate mousse with raspberries. A lot of people do this as the pre-theater thing but I wouldnt unless you want to sleep thru your show.

This is a great place if you want to eat yourself to death. $52.00 flat rate to get good sushi and salads for starters and as much meat as you can or want to have. Great and quick service. Wines should be cheaper to make this place perfect for parties. Real downside: too much noise for a business or romantic diner!

The food here is delicious. I tried my best not to fill myself with the first course salad bar.. but I couldnt help it! The salad bar had some really tasty offerings. My favorite was the asparagus risotto. It was sooo good, I wish I could go back for that alone. The meats of course stole the show. Service was very attentive but I did feel they were trying to rush us out towards the end of our meal. All in all, the food here was memorable and I cant wait to go back. The only downside would definitely be the price. The bill can easily be at least $150 for two (meal, drinks and tip).

Had a group gathering at Plataforma in the Theater District last Saturday and everyone who attended had a fantastic time. Did the group package that included buffet, meal, booze, & dessert (80$). It was well worth the money. Their was 11 of us and the waiters started us off with 6 bottles of red and 2 of white plus beers.

Went to Plataforma Saturday night for my 25th birthday. Had a fantastic dinner, fav's were the prime rib and pork loin. Tender to the bite, mmmm. My party did the all you can drink special, great value, drank about 4 good bottles of wine just myself and proceeded to fall off my chair after. It was my 25th so I drank a little too much. In all seriousness though, fantastic dinner and great company. Giggidity.
