Its just ok
The atmosphere is fantastic but I never get to eat enough of the steaks that I like. They cut off so little meat and you have to wait for the appropriate waiter to walk near your table. Its fun to go to with a bunch of people but I'd still rather go get a steak at sparks, bobby vans, manhattan grill, the palm,.. the list goes on. For a price fix its kind of expensive for what it is but its worth a try!

Tourists lucky to be trapped here.
This isn't a Newark churrascaria where the food is tops and the decor clearly an afterthought. This is a classy night on the town spot, replete with Brazilian jazz and a happening bar. The food isn't quite an afterthought, as they do put out the obligatory "salad" bar and the beans are indeed black beans and not red kidneys. However, portions and frequency of the visit has much to do with your server and your wait staff than anything else. I can't believe someone didn't get enough food here, but I suppose it could happen. In all, the caiparinhas are fine introductions for newcomers, the food was very good but not the best Brazilian in NYC (and would be a distant fifth in Newark), but the ambiance and energy is Brazilian/ NYC, and that's plenty good for a terrific night out. If you're a tourist, you'd be lucky to be trapped here.

Terrible
I can't believe people actually rate this place highly! My husband and I love Brazilian restaurants - we actually search them out when we travel (we had a lay over once in Atlanta and we had a cab driver "fly" us to a braz. restaurant with 6 of our friends). We were so dissapointed with this NY place. We are used to large portions of perfectly cooked meat that never end. The slices we got were very small, and at times we sat there with our green card visible and an empty plate and we couldn't get a server to stop and give us a piece of meat. The "salad bar" at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. They try to jazz it up with sushi, etc. (we've never seen that at other churrascarias) but they need to focus on perfecting the little things like good asparagus, mozzarella, etc. This place is basically a tourist trap and we will never go again.

Meat, Meat..Boy do I love Meat
I loved the slices of delicious meats that floated my way the other night at this Brazilian wonderland. My finace and I sat by the piano and enjoyed a night filled with great food and lively entertainment. My only problem was that the pork tenderloin man only came around once!!! P.S: Go before 7 pm if you want to actually have a conversation with your companion.
