Where you go for take-out chinese in Carroll/Cobble

Roommates and I have lived in Carroll/Cobble area for 2.5 years, and have tried all the classic chinese takeouts in the 'hood. This is the one you call if takeout chinese is what youre looking for. If you wanted to take the "next step up" youre asking for a slightly more expensive place that actually has an atmosphere. this is not that place: this is the place you go to for delivery or take-out that is good quality and fresh. You will spend less than $10 on your meal and be very very satisfied. If you are looking for "sit down chinese" that has similar quality (but is a few dollars more) that place in the neighborhood would be Lichee Nut on Montague.

    What I love about ny

Places like this are what make new york great. Unassuming on the outside; totally decent, fresh food on the inside. Their sesame noodles are the only disappointment.

    Great Chinese

We live in the neighborhood and always get our Chinese food from here, several times a month. The food is always fresh, not too greasy or salty, and tastes great. They are also super friendly and fast.

    great take out

good stuff, well prepared, and not too expensive. atmosphere is lame, but that is overcome by the quality of the food. they aren't too heavy on the oil and their spices are unique. clean kitchen!

    Favorite Cobble Hill Chinese

This hole-in-the-wall restored my appetite for Chinese food. Fresh food, well-seasoned and inexpensive. The atmosphere may be typical Chinese take-out, but the food is anything but...
