I was looking for dinner options before I had to go to my evening class tonight and walked by Chung Hing. I looked over the menu, they had all the usual Chinese food options. I ordered the General Tso's Beef combo plate, with brown rice and I have to say it was really good. It was nothing fancy, just straight forward Chinese food, at reasonable prices, and I didn't wait too long for my food. I'll be there again next Friday for dinner before my class.

Chung Hing is the best Chinese food around! The food taste great, the service is on point and you cant beat the price! Try the Sesame Bean Curd or Sesame Chicken. You wont be disappointed!

Chung Hing has got certified fine Chinese food, definitely gets a perfect score, 5 stars, 10 outta 10, 2 thumbs up, however you wanna call it. The sesame sauce is excellent, and far exceeds sesame sauces elsewhere, and everything is cooked just right and has lots of flavor. The atmosphere, is one of a typical "pictures on the wall" Chinese joint (any New Yorker will know exactly what this refers to), and thus you can take what you want from this, but suffice to say that it's no fancy sit down spot but has better cleanliness that many other places in this class of Chinese restaurants; and it gets an added bonus from the woman who works the counter and is quick to give attitude back to the people who get rude and pushy. On to the service. It's a quick little review, but the service is efficient and solid...again, the counter lady holds it down in this regard. Lastly, the value is good overall, but generally, with the "picture on the wall" Chinese restaurant's, there is little variation on the pricing of respective dishes from place to place. So, give Chun Hing credit in this regard, in that they are in the ever expensive Cobble Hill, and it's rent and other overhead expenses are likely higher than many of its competitors/counterparts. To sum up, Chun Hing is Da Bombest Chinese around.

Roommates and I have lived in Carroll/Cobble area for 2.5 years, and have tried all the classic chinese takeouts in the 'hood. This is the one you call if takeout chinese is what youre looking for. If you wanted to take the "next step up" youre asking for a slightly more expensive place that actually has an atmosphere. this is not that place: this is the place you go to for delivery or take-out that is good quality and fresh. You will spend less than $10 on your meal and be very very satisfied. If you are looking for "sit down chinese" that has similar quality (but is a few dollars more) that place in the neighborhood would be Lichee Nut on Montague.

Places like this are what make new york great. Unassuming on the outside; totally decent, fresh food on the inside. Their sesame noodles are the only disappointment.

We live in the neighborhood and always get our Chinese food from here, several times a month. The food is always fresh, not too greasy or salty, and tastes great. They are also super friendly and fast.

good stuff, well prepared, and not too expensive. atmosphere is lame, but that is overcome by the quality of the food. they aren't too heavy on the oil and their spices are unique. clean kitchen!
