The food is simply ok. The coco bread is truly amazing but thats about it. The patties and other baked stuff are good. The rest of the food is bland compared to other Jamaican restaurants I've been to. The service could be better. I pass by all the time and pick up a coco bread and thats it. I've tried everything else they have and wouldn't eat them again.

The drinks are fresh from off the boat from Jamaica REALLY authentic, healthy, and delicious stuff like cucumber melon - yummy. The oxtail, rice and peas, and fresh soup really take me back to the wonderful island of Jamaica. Try everything, you won't be disappointed. Great little location - nice, friendly staff. I've seen everybody (people from all cultures and walks of life) stop in here.

Christie's is so excellent! I stop there once or twice a week on my way home, as it's so close to the subway, and get a chicken pattie and coco bread. I have tried other Jamaican places, but Christie's is my favorite. Some of the servers are funny and make jokes while serving, and the service overall is fine, I mean, one isn't usually there long enough for it to make a difference. So perfect for both snacks and meals!

Their cocoa bread and chicken patties are unrivaled. Everytime I'm in Park Slope, I stop by Christie's. The value and the quality of the food can't be beat.

The chicken patties and beef patties are unreal. For $1.85, too? You can't beat that with a stick.

Christy's has the best beef patties I have ever had. These are on an other level compared to your standard pizza place patties. They taste home made, I could eat them every day. Thier coco bread is good too.

I've only tried the patties here, but they are AMAZING. Go eat them.
