I'm at my computer 1.5 hours after placing an order...when I called on the status the staff said they just had a shift change. I order at 12:30....what kind of time is that to have a delivery shift change?

Chopt is one of the freshest salad places out there. You get a large size salad and if you're smart on your ordering you can get a salad for $10 with 10 items added (10veg) and that is a steal as are all their combo salads. The lines can be long, but they move fast. It must be hard to run a business where people stand there trying to make up their minds with so many options.....which is often why you have to wait. I eat here 4 times a week and swear by this place...everybody who I introduce loves this place. Enjoy!

The servers here are extremely arrogant and rude to customers. That would be ok at a cheap place like Wendy's, but at $10 for a salad where they put miniscule amounts of ingredients, I would not recommend this place.

I love the look and feel of the place, but it gets too crowded. The people who work there don't always follow directions - but it's better than Starbucks people. I am an addict for their dressings and like how fresh everything is.

Chop't salads and wraps are fresh and delicious.

I would have recommended Chop't previously, based on the food. They do have some of the best salads I have tasted, but I have to steer people away based on the unclean service though. I went there today to redeem my buy 9 get 1 free card. The person who was in charge of adding the dressing was chatting with his coworker and rested his hand on the side of an open garbage can before handing me my salad. Normally I would complain, but considering he only touched the outside of my salad container and I was getting the salad for free, I figured it wasn't worth it. I don't think I'll ever be going back there no matter how good their salads are and I would recommend any one else to do the same.

I've been to two "Salad" restaurants in Manhattan. First was Tossed on Park South & 23rd Street, and then Chopt. Chopt blows Tossed out of the water. Plus, Chopt has great avacado. Top-quality ingredients that are generously doled out. Sometimes the lines and service is a little slow, but it's fun to people-watch in line. The two owners are very nice, but the staff seems distant, dissatisfied, and indifferent. But what the hey, it's only a salad. My number one gripe is the annoying Spanish/Mexican music that blares in the background. It sounds like crap. It transforms a bright, fresh California-style restaurant into a cheesy, sleazy Tijuana whorehouse.
