Food is usually good. They have a problem with cooking the fried sweet and sour chicken. They overcook it a lot and it is hard as a rock sometimes. I still order from them but NOT fried chicken. They also say it's all white meat chicken but I doubt it very much, doesn't look like it. I also used to get it delivered but noticed the delivery guy adds a buck or so onto the bill and he didn't give me a copy so I could check later. Now I pick it up so he gets nothing. I would have given 4 stars except for the overcooked chicken and the gamesthe delivery guy plays with prices. It happened a few times so I'm done trying it. I like it so I'm looking for a new place to order from. Too bad, they are losing customers over silly, petty things.

We have dined and had delivered our meals and have never been disappointed. The food is fresh, tasty and served with a smile and very attentive to our needs.

If courtesy is contagious, the cashiers are immune. They made a small error on my takeout order which I politely asked them to correct-a $1.50 item-but they insisted my wife had made an error when ordering She told me that she had not taken the order but was "sure" it was not their fault. I asked her to credit my VISA card which she said "couldn't be done" I persisted and finally had them slam $1.50 cash on the counter. (By the way the Moo Shu Vegetables were soaking in liquid which was not properly drained)

for cantonese food in brooklyn this is as good as it gets. old style food, hot and delicious, open kitchen, big and beautiful place, great service, standard to affordable prices. portions are fine and an open kitchen says- we have no secrets. big sushi bar.don't miss out on this if you are in the area. all staff bend over backwards to please you. no rudeness, no hostility- just good food and a happy family for all.

I used to enjoy this place, we would always order it in the dorms. It was cheap, it was delicious and it was fast. I loved how they were open late. But my most recent interaction with the people at Chopstix was unbelievable. Since it was a delivery, you don't normally tip. You tip when they provide a service, and since there was a hefty delivery charge, I tipped $1.50. Once I signed and took my food, the driver proceeded to cuss me out, and say "Are you kidding me, 1 dollar tip?" Then i proceeded to explain to him, about the service he is not providing for me. Then he told me I should go in next time, and then I don't have to tip. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I will never order from here again, that was ridiculous and I had my children around and they heard everything. Something like this is not acceptable.

This place is actually really good! It's been around for a while. It's nested in the heart of Sheepshead Bay on Nostrand ave, and has an amazing dining room with bamboo plants, a bridge and a fountain. The food is like authentic chinese food, great fried rice, and the food is so flavorful! Most takeout restaurants dont take time and provide this type of quality! check it out

i agree with the previous reviewer - this place has been around forever and has been consistently very good. it used to be a storefront chinese take out place (and still is), but it added a very nice restaurant. the food is very good, fresh, mostly excellent and the service is very good. the take out prices are cheaper than the restaurant - the restaurant is a little pricey for the neighborhood, but still worth it. if it's not on the menu, they will make it for you.
