Great
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all good. Variety and tastiness and decent prices. Only downside is how busy they are sometimes, best to pick up or have delivered.

Not bad at all
I think the ambience, staff and food at Choice Market are fantastic. The food is reasonably priced and to be quite honest, many mornings I wake up CRAVING their pancakes. Their burgers are nice and beefy and they don't seem to rashon your food...they dish it out quite accordingly. The staff are very welcoming and pleasant. Camilly who works on the tills is very personable and helpful. I wouldn't stop going to this restaurant even if I moved further away from it. Definately a place to give a try!

Captive audience
My two cents: 1. Ingredients - Why must they add completely random and/or insane amounts of ingredients to perfectly normal dishes? I'm all for creativity, but these guys are too heavy-handed to pull it off most of the time. And many combinations seem completely arbitrary. Also, many dishes include ingredients that aren't in the description. 2. Prices - Not the worst, but I figure they price the food like this because there's no competition nearby, and Pratt students are their main demographic. 3. Service - Some of the regular ladies are nice, but the entire ordering process is almost non-existent. And the wait times make absolutely no sense. Like waiting 20 minutes for a cold order that should take 2 minutes to plate. The kitchen staff appears to be moving underwater while wearing metal suits. The only reason I continue to go here is because there are very few good places to eat in the area. Don't even get me started on the Choice Greene, which I hope closes down soon as its prices are an insult to the entire neighborhood. That place makes Agata and Valentina look cheap by comparison!

disgruntled
First of all I like Choice Market. The food is good and I order from here all the time. Unfortunately, they have a policy about ketchup that I find mind boggling. I enjoy ordering egg sandwiches and cheese and always ask for hot sauce and ketchup on the sandwich. Some of the staff oblige without a word and the sandwich is delicious. There is one man who absolutely refuses to put the ketchup on the sandwich, saying that it is against company policy and that he will put it in the bag and I can put it on myself. Well I don't want to put it on myself. The cheese melts into the bread and egg and the appropriate time to apply the ketchup is at during the sandwich's creation. Plus, it is a restaurant, they are in the food preparing business. Why would they refuse to make a sandwich the way I want it. What kind of cockamamy policy is this? I want a professional to apply my ketchup and they shouldn't force me to do it. I'm no good at it, if I was good at preparing food I wouldn't order food out everyday. I don't have the patience to apply the ketchup throughout the sandwich and it just never tastes the same when I do it. So please, choice market, please oh please change this unjust policy and start applying ketchup if requested. thank you

The prices are ridiculous now...
I like Choice Market, I really do. So I was apprehensive to write this review. However, after my most recent experience I had to. One morning I ordered an egg sandwich with swiss on multi-grain toast and fresh squeezed orange juice. My total was $9.38. (yes, you read correctly). I was floored. Where in Brooklyn do you pay nearly ten dollars for a breakfast sandwich and juice? Even though the juice was freshly squeezed, it was still overly expensive. In addition, they only take cash, which isn't a huge deal, but at those prices they may want to reconsider that. I know that my neighborhood (Clinton Hill) has become all fancy over the past several years, and by fancy I mean gentrified, but this is ridiculous. These are Manhattan prices in Brooklyn. Upper East side prices at that. To add, if you don't call in your order, be prepared to wait because it is always crowded. Great for the owners, but not so great for customers who want to go in and out quickly. I'm glad the business is successful (I believe they are opening another location on Atlantic Ave.) but don't forget about the customers who made your business successful. It has been difficult for me to return since my last purchase, but it will be hard to resist them over time; I live right across the street. I just hope they keep their prices steady and don't increase them as their business continutes to grow and be successful.

please get new and better people to work there
i enjoy eating the food here. cookies are great, cake is not so great. it's very bland and every cake i've had there tasted the same, like nothing. but seriously, get new people to work there. the service is so bad. when we are there it's bad. when we order delivery, they always get our order wrong. the delivery guys are good though. please, i would eat there more often if it wasn't such a pain to talk to you guys!

Good food, sometimes not so good service
As others have said, the food here is wonderful. The chicken panini are great, and the chocolate croissants are too good. The main problem, though, is the service. It's often a confused mess when it comes to figuring out where to order and who's in line to order or pay and who's just standing waiting for food. If you call, be sure to ask how long it will take. Lots of times the person on the phone will take your order and then hang up without anything else. It's kind of frustrating, but the food is worth it.
