Chocolat has it going on!
There was 11 of us and I had called for reservations, we came on a Monday and the atmosphere was great and the service was great, even though it was getting late and some of our party arrived late they took the time to make more bread, which was nice and warm. Most of the group had wine I had the Sangria was very nice salad was good, the chicken was very tasty. My group enjoyed and we will be back. Only problem and not the fault of the establishment is hard to find parking and that's why we were late we had come from a great Show at the Shomburgh. I can't wait to try the Shrimp and brunch menu.

Mac and Cheese Love, Love Love.
The ribs were meaty and tender, tilapia perfect. stringbeans, never tasted stringbeans that good. Looking forward to eating there again. Will try the shrimps and grits on my next visit.

Nice decor, average food
This place has a really nice vibe: attractive decor, good music which isn't too loud, pleasant service, reasonable prices. The food okay, but nothing special which, alas, is the case with most restaurants in this city.

Charming Lounge Area
The hostess was very accomodating, she allowed us to sit prior to our reservation time. The manager however, was not as pleasant as the wait staff or hostess. The food was seasoned well and satisfying to the palate.

Excellent eating!
We went to just to have drinks and stayed for dinner! The food was excellent and the service very attentive. Although in the Hostess had an attitude about our desire to have drinks at the table. The wait staff was a delight. We will be returning again for a birthday party and another get together with friends. It is nice to be able to stay uptown for dinner for a change.

good food not service
The food at this place is good, but why do I need to wait for a table when there's nobody in the restaurant? Why do I need to wait 20 mins for them to put forks and knives on the table so i can sit down?? Why do you basically only have one person working? I just don't get it. I liked the french toast and the mimosas were a bit weak. All in all nothing to write home about. The place looks great but the service is really poor.

Great Place
The food was great with good presentation. Very reasonably priced. The service was excellent. The staff went out of their way to get the UCONN game on TV for us. Lastly the atmosphere was great. A very comfortable and classy place. Will definitely go again.
