Don't let the appearance fool you
This place looks a little plain and not so great on the outside, but the food is amazing. It's ready instantly, all the sides are tasty, and its really some of the freshest and moistest (is that a word?) chicken on the UWS.

Whoa! Chicken
Chirping Chicken, which we ran into after getting to Amsterdam Billiards Lounge on an empty stomach, may LOOK shady but it's OH SO GOOD. Possibly the best grilled chicken I have ever had. Get the "Half White Meal", or something to that effect-- lots of all white meat, with soft, fluffy pitas on the side. Hopefully they can deliver to Columbia University, though I haven't checked yet.

Best Chicken in the City
Chirping Chicken is the best smelling, juicy, tasty rotisserie chicken in the city by far. I have not tried the chicken nuggets, but my friend Rufus says that they are the best he's ever had. This chicken is enjoyed by everybody. My friends and I recently converged from Brooklyn, Columbia, and Chelsea to chow down in the Upper West Side. There is another location in the Lower East Side, but I have not tried their chicken. I could eat this chicken at least 4 times a week if I lived closer.

...bar none! I would pay double what Chirping Chicken charges. Remember to order extra pita bread!

Ah...the Bird
The One place we really miss in NYC is "The Bird." Could there ever be a better place for Chicken? Juicy, cooked to perfection and the delievery....minutes! Anyone who hasn't had it, is really missing out! Try it NOW!

Best chicken I've had ever!
As far as grilled chicken goes, this place is hands down the best. The chicken is juicy and deliciously flavored. The ribs are good too, and it's not too expensive to have once or twice a week. I wouldn't advise the potato salad, though. I don't know how they make it, but I wish they would ask for my recipe. I tried to doctor it up at home, but it was flatline, DOA. But that's forgivable, being that virtually everything else is scrumptious.
