Chirping Chicken

i have been going to this place for years and ordering delivery, i have vowed a few times to never return (due to bad or rude service), but you cant beat the value. always consistent food, you know what you are going to get, no problem. there is one lady who is super tough -- very hard to tell who is the owner.

My fish filet sandwich came with only tomato and lettuce, even though the menu over the list of sandwiches mentions onion too. I returned to the counter and asked for onion. I was told that I would have to be charged extra for it because onion only comes with a deluxe sandwich. When I explained that that wasn't what the menu in front of me said, she threw the written menu at me and said it was on that menu, and she would have given me the onion for free, but because I had an attitude I could forget it. I told her she had to live up to the menu I read, and if they wanted to change the rule, they had to change the menu. I'm not going back--in this economy, this is no way to handle customer service--come to think of it, in any economy this is no way to handle customer service!

Try the dry crispy fried buffalo wings. I took a bag home and added Heineken. It was so yummy!

I was very disappointed of this location.. First of all the menu is nothing like its westside location.. I asked for a gilled chicken salad and I paid over $8 for a sloppy, wilted salad with some dry chicked thown into it.. There is a nasty russian girl who mans the counter here. If you ask questions about the menu she gets some sort of an attitude like shes annoyed that you arent rushing.. Im sorry honey but if Im gonna pay money for my food, I'd like to know what Im getting.. Take the trip over to west 77 street.. Much better food and nicer staff

Yes, we WANT the old CHUBBY & JUICY Chirping Chicken BACK! Taste is unparalled. Product is lightly herbed and grilled BBQ chicken. And that's all to it! No atmosphere, no quality service and deteriorating value. Great take out place if you are a BBQ chicken fan. BUT through the years, the chicken got SLIMMER and SMALLER while the price followed the UP trend getting bigger. I am a GOOD old customer letting the owners know about their mistake they made to raise the profits. It won't go on like this, if you don't fix your mistake and bring back our CHUBBY & JUICY Chirping Chicken BACK soon! Spend on online and community advertising, develop better packacing, better your side items (such as rice, beans, pasta, salad and sauce options) and you will see a surge in demand. Sell more, make more on the bottomline. That's the american way. That's the way to make more profit. Good luck, if you take it. Or see how your revenues and profits MELT through time despite high profit margins.

My husband and I are addicted to Chirping Chicken. The chicken sandwich and the whole chicken have never let us down. Delivery is super fast, a whole dinner for both of us arrives in under 10 minutes!! We're addicted...it's inexpensive...and delicious!

I stumbled upon this place and happy I did. Perfectly cooked chicken that is great either on a pita or in a salad.
