so good
Their burritos are absolutely amazing. Just the thought of it makes my mouth water. If I could eat there everyday and not gain weight, I would.

Overcrowded, slow workers, etc
Don't get me wrong, I love Chipotle's burritos. I do however Not appreciate the loud and obnoxious crowds, the ridiculously long lines (out the door and down the block at times. I went at 11:40 one day only to be on a line out the door. I figured I’d beat the lunch rush.) I understand it’s quite popular at the moment and there will be crowds but I feel like the service is the problem. During my last visit, I waited on line for about 15 minutes, which wasn’t too bad. When it came my turn to place my order, burrito with rice; black beans; barbacoa - wait my roughly 7 strands of shredded beef?! I was nice about it and asked if I could just have a little more meat so the guy serving the meat picks up about another 3 or 4 strands of beef and drops them onto the heap that was my burrito. I sensed he was being wise so I turned around and said to give me the extra meat, I’ll just pay for it (stupidity on my part but I didn’t want to cause a scene). I don’t know about you but when I pay around $10 for a burrito, I should get my $’s worth. Next up is the tomatoes, sour cream, lettuce, cheese, etc. I clearly had to repeat myself 3 times for them to give me two items I didn’t even ask for on my burrito. I said a little cheese, lettuce & sour cream. I got salsa, corn and they were about to dump Guacamole. I know it can get busy but come on, this is a recurring problem at this location. I just wanted to get back to my desk to eat and continue working so I dealt with it. The bill came to $12.20 for one burrito. It should have been about $8 & change but since they skimp on the meat, I had to pay for extra. Blah. Long story short, I’m cutting out my Chipotle fixes every couple of weeks.

Don't believe the hype
I heard that this was the place to go for good mexican fast food. I had the soft chicken tacos and the meat was cold and everything else was just thrown in so that when you went to pick up the taco it was all over the foil wrap and not on the soft shell. Lunch is not cheap and I didn't even get a drink. First and last time I go to Chipotle on 42nd and 5th.

Ehhhh
Despite the rave reviews concerning Chipotle's quality and great taste, I was still disappointed when my friend insisted we go here for the best Mexican food on the planet. I ordered the burrito "bol" with peppers and onions, corn salsa AND hot sauce (which, to their credit, was hot), lettuce, tomatoes, rice, black beans, and a sprinkle of cheese. While this may sound like a Mexican banquet, my "bol" contained an unsatisfying amount of food, and with the way the ingredients were set up, I was grimly reminded of Subway, and how its claims for true freshness never quite made the mark. At least it's cheap!

Expect to be FULL
I hit this place up at least once a week for lunch as its just a few blocks from my office. The chicken burritto bowl with rice, red beans, pico, hot salsa and lettuce is my fav. And don't forget a scoop of guac with chips---so tasty. And dirt cheap to boot. Great tasting, fast and filling lunch.

What's the big deal?
I kept hearing about how awesome chipotle was from almost everyone I know, so I finally gave it a try, and I was hugely disappointed. The burritos have almost no flavor. The only thing I could actually taste were the peppers--and they tasted eh. I do not recommend this place.
