A big rice filled burrito may be filling but it is not particularly good. The rice with cilantro is nice, but the meat is low quality and sparse. This is exactly what you'd expect - fast food mexican for the mid-west palate.

First: McDonald's didn't own Chipotle, they were only the major shareholder, but have since sold all their stock. They had nothing to do with the food, distribution, or anything else for that matter. Second: I LOVE Chipotle. The burrito bowls ensure that you can get a delicous mouthful of their delicous guac in every bite.

I go there all the time, to the 8th St. location. The service is better and the food is cleaner than at St. Marks Place. I am sorry to say that no "Mexican" restaurant I've been to in New York has ever come close to edible, let alone authentic. Chipotle is not authentic Mexican (Mexicans eat tacos, not burritos, and Mexican rice isn't white), but it is excellent food--and addictive, too. Also surprising is that even though it's a fast food joint, I am always surprised by their low staff turnover and their happy servers.

Great food. Great value. AND if you think this is a "McDonald's owned" food joint you are sorely mistaken and ingnorant. This company was started in Colorado and is a long time favorite of ski bums and boarders out west. And yes, Ozzi Osbourne. The only reason this place is linked with McDonalds is because they recently began sharing a food distributor.

Chipotle is amazing. Get the Barbacoa! I love to go there!

It's McD's. Nuff said. Good, cheap takeout joint. I love McDonalds, but I am too fat to eat there more than 3 times a year.
