This place is delicious. I order from here any time I want chinese and nowhere else. I am quite a few blocks from this restaraunt and the delivery comes in about 25 minutes everything perfect and steaming hot. i usually order a bunch of appetizery stuff first because its done so well...really porky bbq chinese ribs, shrimp rolls that are crispy deliciously greasy and stuffed with whole shrimp and cabbage, small but good steamed meat dumplings, and an orrder of light and meaty chicken lo mein that was really hot and fresh. i also order scallion pancakes, also on the greasy in a good way side, and i have had several of the soups. i would imagine anything is good. ORDER FROM HERE. if you speak clearly and efficiently there is nothing wrong with the phone order, dont listen to what others say. by far the best takeout in williamsburg, and i am an nyc native that has grown up eating takeout my entire life. ENJOY!!!!

The women taking calls is so rude, food was bad and cold when it was delivered.

The food was awesome - really good quality all white meat. And they came pretty far to get it too me - was speedy - deliv. guy was very friendly. I will order again and spread the word. Thanks. Same price as other places in the hood but with a significantly higher quality of food.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I think this place is fantastic. You often have to wait a while for you delivery, but it is worth it in my opinion. Get the Homestyle Tofu and Ta Chin Chicken!

The food here has been pretty consistently good throughout the two years I've been ordering here, but lately they've been having some delivery service problems. It all starts with a new person on the phones: she's rude, impatient, doesn't take food orders correctly, and is unhelpful when there has been a problem. Then, four times now it has taken over an hour for the food to arrive (twice it was 90 mins) - if they told us to expect this we could make an informed decision about whether to order anyway, but they did not. In fact, when we've called to check after the food hasn't arrived in 45 minutes, the same woman told us every time that it was already on the way, even when it was clear it wasn't on the way because it took another 45 minutes to arrive. When we called to complain that it had taken 1.5 hours to arrive, she was just defensive and said the restaurant was busy. Again, fine - just tell us before we order that it's going to take 1.5 hours to arrive! Finally, more recently, they've twice left food out of the order, and when we've called to ask about it the same woman refused to call the driver to see if the food was in the car, and refused to take any steps to prioritize getting the missing food over to us in time to eat it with the rest of the food. Unfortunately, as far as I know, this is the only Chinese place in Greenpoint/Williamsburg that has halfway decent food and isn't one of those dirty order counters that serve only bland Americanized Chinese standards. Chinese Musician has a great variety, including some good Chinese vegetables and a great selection of soups. They are generous with the ingredients, too - lots of veggies and tofu in the hot & sour soup, plenty of shrimp in the shrimp dishes, etc.

Food was subpar. Delivery took one hour. I had a bad feeling that they would charge my credit card wrong and sure enough they charged it twice over the weekend on separate days.

Makes me happy to come here. Maybe it's because I'm a Jew from Queens, but this restaurant is kicking it old school w/ fake Chinese food that's been rockin Americans' socks since the 1960s. My personal favorite are the Sesame Noodles. The house special fried rice is awesome it's Benihana style. I've gotten delivery from the restaurant a few times, and don't remember any departure from the dine-in food. GO.
