Great Ice cream & Superb Flavor Choices!

Between two people we had two flavors each: Red Bean, Black Sesame, Green Tea and Ginger. All were delicious. It would have been the best ice cream known to mankind if the flavors were stronger. But, what great flavor options!!! The place is tiny with a lower case "t", but so are many Tasty Delite locations. The service was very pleasant with the young counter staff saying "thank you" more than once to us. A bench outside would be a nice touch. Regardless we enjoyed eating our Asian flavored treats while walking the streets of Chinatown... free trip to Asia on a nice summer night. Will return!

    Awesome

The ice creams are fresh, creamy and bursting with flavor. You HAVE to try the Almond Cookie ice cream. IMO its the best. Equally good are the Lychee, Peach and Mocha Chip. They have lots of exotic flavors to chose from so try multiple scoops. The only drawback is that the shop is tiny and ordering can be quite a squeeze as its very poplular. Plus there is no place to sit and enjoy the frozen treats.

    worth every penny

i had the strawberry cheesecake and it was GREAT. the only thing that would've made it even better is if there were actual bits in it, but overall it was still REALLY good. my friend had the taro and my other friend had the mango sorbet. And i didnt hear any complaints. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU STOP BY AND ORDER SOME. even if theres a long line, it goes fast so dont worry.

This is the best ice cream in the world

Oh damn where do I begin?? The ice cream is so unbelievably creamy, perfectly sweet, marshmellowy fluffy and the flavors are so intoxicatingly addictive. The almond cookie and mango flavors are the BEST! I need a new keyboard after this because I've just drooled all over it thinking about this.

    Thank heaven...

...for Chinatown Ice Cream Factory. Upon hearing of all of their wild and exotic flavors, I was instantly hooked, as I am almost notorious for my willingness to try new food. Alas, while they didn't have THE most strange of their flavors present, I had coconut and black sesame ice creams, and each bite seemed to impart some sort of Confucian wisdom on me: "Only with ice cream can man be happy". Truly delightful, and a perfect accompaniment to my walk out of the shop, considering the lack of seats-but who the hell cares?

    Worth a try

Delicious ice cream, but as someone else said, the atmosphere is sub-par, too bad there isn't a place to sit and enjoy the ice cream. But, ice cream and sorbet (my friend has the tangerine) are homemade, fresh, and delicious. Worth a stop during a visit to Chinatown.
