One of the best in UE Side NYC!

Unbelievable! I just went twice this weekend, once on Friday for dinner and once on a Sunday afternoon for some sushi. The service, food, atmosphere, and cleanliness is outstanding (I'm not sure how other people could think the service is not good). The menu is very extensive...the selection appeals to those who have never had Chinese cuisine before, to those who are experienced sushi snobs! Will 110% go back to this place, and would take it any day over nasty Mom&Pop shops in China town with poor service and overpriced meals.

    Extraordinary food, Phenomenal Service

I have tried many many places on the Upper East Side including Noodles 28 and etc. this place beats them all. Being Asian, I know Asian food. The service is freakin awesome. You can get healthy or greasy or in between. The menu is ridiculously extensive. Eat here. End of story.

    Poor Service, Great FOOD!!

I found this place randomly, noticing $25 all you can eat sushi and $12.95 all you can drink specials. I had to try it. And i must say, comming from a sushi snob... it was absolutely amazing. The fish was so fresh and delicous, and the all you can eat included all specialty rolls which were also incredible. The all you can drink was well worth the money as well. However I must say the service was not good at all... I honestly dont know if i have ever had such poor service before but, I will still continue to go back. I can accept the poor service in exchange for the great food and drinks! The prices for the value is unbeatable.

    Unpleasant experience

I ordered from them online and they messed up my address. The delivery guy called me to get the correct address but it already took too long. I ordered sweet & sour pork and sweet & sour chicken. Neither dish had the sweet and sour sauce on the actual meat. The sauce came separately and the dishes didn't taste good. I also ordered shrimp lo mein and received beef lo mein instead. Nothing about this order was actually what I ordered. Judge for yourself but you might be better off picking a different place right away.

    fresh, healthy, absolutely fabulous

I ordered the four seasons veggie delight - it was absolutely delicious and healthy! It is quite the challenge to find a good quality chinese restaurant - I am so happy I discovered this place.

    Great Food

Had the pleasure of eating here while babysitting a relative's kid. Ordered the Shredded Duck with scallions and pancakes with plum sauce. At $12 it was a steal and undoubtedly one of the best things I have ever tasted in my life. Unlike most places where duck can be greasy and unappealing, hear it was the consistency of pulled-pork BBQ, moist, with deep, savoury flavours. The child ordered general tso's chicken, which I have to say was good and great value. I will travel from the West Side to have that duck again!

    Best on UES

I'm from California and finding good chinese its not easy. I love Chinatown East by far. They have a great price on the weekends (Lunch special runs into the weekends) and they ALWAYS deliver great food. I have yet to be dissapointed.
