    quickest delivery in the business!

i order in from here all the time, never actually eaten in the restaurant. my fiance gets chinese food and i get sushi options. all is delicious, hits the spot and comes within 10 minutes sometimes! always can count on their delivery after a weekend away when you just want something quickly. great lunch specials too when you're hungover on a sunday. i mean... they get my order right every time. clutch in a takeout spot. i'm a regular and i encourage you to be too.

    Very Disappointing

When we went there a month or so ago, the food we ordered was pretty decent. Not so our last take out. We ordered two of Sweet & Sour soups; one was fine, the other smelled like a fish and was inedible. Both chicken dishes were boring and did not have any test. The string beans in Hunan chicken dish were overcooked and several of the beans had rotten parts; the broccolis in the other dish were also overcooked and mushy. The white rice had strange medicinal smell. Considering how much was thrown out, the food was significantly overpriced.

    Sometimezy

I mostly eat the sushi which is really good but I have had issues with their shrimp and broccolli. This is a hit and miss. Sometimes the shrimp is mushy and uneatable. The wonton soup is excellent - noodles are fresh and light - not like what you get at your neighborhood chinese restaurant. I always get mine with bean sprouts. Delish! the shrimp shumai is also worth a buy. Overall the sushi hear wins my vote.

    Not worth it

Ordered Chicken Lo Mein and it was tastless, the noodles were lumped together. They are fast but don't put any care in their food.

    disappointed & hungry

I ordered takeout a week ago and the food was inedible! The beef with broccoli didnt even taste like beef it tasted like a beef blend, the meat was slimy and chewy. The brown rice was hard and needed soy sauce to actually make it soft.

    disappointing

just ordered take out and the $14 Rainbow Prawns were uneatable. Small dry and old. Seemed like canned string beans. No taste what so ever. The most edible things were the free chicken skewers and cold sesame noodle. When i called to tell them about the Rainbow Prawns they told me that is how they are served. Mooshoo pork had no flavor either. Order anywhere else but here.

    Surprising

I was a bit skeptical when I got their menu in the mail, I never trust the menus...but I gave them a shot once I passed the place walking home. I think their lunch specials are at an amazing value .I love their chicken and shrimp combo - I have tried all the other Chinese places around here and I wasn't satisfied, but Chinatown East surprised me! They deliver quick and they always get the order correct. It's always hot when I have it! I'd suggest ordering anything off the lunch special list, I've tried a lot but chicken and shrimp is my favorite!
