    Failure across the board

Will take this one by one... -Party of 11 seated at an 8 top right at the front door where the chairs didnt even fit around without us there. -Maitre D totally aloof as if he was standing outside Bungalow 8 and refused to even talk to the person who made the reservation and checked on it to make sure this didnt happen wheh she asked if there were other table available. -Told the manager that an 11 top was about to walk and he acted like he cared but came back that it was the only table and please try it as we will make it worth your while but never came back to the table to check on us and did nothing -Waiter had an attitude and snapped back at everything we said -Waiter got no help from any of the busboys save for the one who filled out water glasses when we walked in and then yelled at a busboy for all of us to hear at the end of the meal -Did the price fix tasting menu option for 9 people (one wasnt eating, one is a veg and ordered on their own) and when the dumplings all came out there were 8 of each to which the waiter said there was nothing he could do (another trip to the manager did take care of this) -Waiter came back after giving us the bill to take it away to add the 20% gratuity that he in no way deserved as the menu said it (i should have argued it but was beaten down by that point) The food may be alright but you couldnt get me back there if you offered to buy me dinner there. I dont like paying over $100 per person to be treated poorly.

    Definitely Go!

We too read all of the reviews and have to say put off going for a bit. We finally decided to try it and absolutely LOVED it. The food was great. The service was great. We definitely recommend going.

    Go elsewhere

My better half and I have been almost everywhere in the city as critics and I must admit that I was disappointed in the manner in which the managers handeled our first visit to this venue. There were at least 3 open booths when we arrived for an 8:15 reservation, but were told that they were reserved. If reserved means 1 1/2 hrs later and no party means occupied then, by all means, no complaints. Food was up to par and service pretty good but the initial blow ruined an otherwise perfect evening. Seek solace elsewhere where prices reflect attitude

    Extremely Overpriced

The food, while not bad, was not particularly good- what you would get at an average or slightly below average dim sum place or chinese restaurant- but at about three times the price. The service was very disorganized. Definitely not recommended.

    No ladel

They serve their soup dumplings, which are decent, without the proper chinese spoons that you would get at any respectable soup dumpling spot. so, you're left with a plateful of the dumpling soup which is the best part. i tried to eat it with a regular spoon, but it just doesn't work. this sort of oversight was typical here. the food was fine, but it's pretty overpriced. you're paying the interior decorator for his cheesey taste. i heard that the duck is good, though.

    Nice restaurant

It's a beautiful restaurant- nice staff, attentive service, great decor/vibe, and tasty food. Food is not really authentic in a very strict sense (if it matters to you) but taste wonderful. My only gripe is the price- it's too steep..

    Classic food! Great service!

After walking by so many times i had to stop in chinatown brasserie. I loved the decor and the aroma of fresh chinese food from the door! the won ton was a tad salty. The service by "sam" was A+. highly recomend stoping in!
