    Fun Chic Night!

Came here for a birthday dinner. Party of 8. Bill was just under $400 (about $60/person). lovedmy meal. I had the Mango-Garlic Roast Chicken and it was just divine. Chicken was juicy and tender while skin was crispy and tasty. Waiter was polite, attentive and wonderful. Manager on duty comped us drinks! Though Mai Tais were too sour for me :( Everything is served family style so everyone can have some of everything. Fried rice and lo mein noodles are a bit bland, but I still enjoyed. Decor is lovely, beautiful fish pond on lower floor. Chic, well-dressed crowd, played fun karaoke style music. We all sang along and had a nice time! Also had ice cream sandwich dessert, was delicious as well!

    mediocre food and poor service

The atmosphere was ok, music way too loud. Food no where as good as Chinatown restaurants and twice the price. Ordered duck with scallions, came out as a pile of scallions with very little duck. Waitress was unprofessional, maitre'd was almost as bad. Skip this place.

    Brunch is a great deal!

I have probably been here over 10 times since my husband loves Chinese food. I can't say the same, but this is the only place I will eat it. Peeking duck is amazing, as are the black bass appetizers. And the egg role, and the chili oil ( request it!) and the dim sum...you get the picture. Go for lunch. Most of the dim sum is half price!!

    Pretty good....

....food. The special, the weekend I went, was crispy soft shell crabs and they were excellent. I've had soft shell crabs numerous times before, prepared different ways, and their version was the best. It was not greasy, had just enough crunch, and the crab was fresh. The other things we tried were just as good. Loved the space and interior decor. The staff was attentive and friendly as well. I highly recommend this restaurant. Will definitely come back again.

    In my top five now

Finally, Chinese food without MSG! One of those "Finds" that will now be in my top five for the quality of the food. The custard bao was a nice way to end our meal. I can't wait to go again!

    authentic dim sum

im asian, and i took my mother here after she complained that the dim sum in chinatown was disappointing. she's quite a foodie and was comparing everything to the dim sum she prefers in shanghai. unfortunately, she has never flown me with her so i thought this mythical shanghai dimsum would never be a reality for me. i was wrong however, because according to her the dim sum at chinatown brasserie is just as good. i thought it was delicious as well. overpriced, but delicious.

    Disappointing food

As a food snob, I find it unthinkable that I doubted that my General Tso's chicken was not really chicken. Texture was that of fried fish and tasted like fish. It was either chicken fried in fishy oil or just really fried fish cubes. Pork fried rice was horrendous. (Have had better at fast food Chinese in an airport).
