    very good

i order from here almost everyday and the food is really amazing. the food comes quickly and its worth it. the lunch specials are very cheap and the food is filling because it comes in such large quantities. the delivery is good but the atmosphere is kind of "ghetto" but the food is amazing.

    Awesome carry out or delivery

    - the fastest delivery ever, gets to my place usually in 10 minutes and is still very hot when it arrives - big portions - low prices - the food is great, consistently - definitely my #1 choice for delivery or carry out in the East Village - even though there's a table or 2 in the waiting/ordering area, it's basically a delivery/carry out business and not really a restaurant, so the "atmosphere" rating does not really apply for this place

    Subpar staff

I live less than a block away and I refuse to eat here after an incident. I used to get food at least once a week and the man behind the counter was quite nice and would say hello. The food isn't great but it's cheap and close. One time I went in and ordered and my total was higher than usual. I asked the new girl to check the menu and I pointed out the price but she then told me she was charging for the sauce- those frickin free packets than every place just throws at you for ordering anything! My normal total was 4.75 and she wanted 25 cents extra a packet for sauce. She put in four and wanted 5.75. I told her no thanks for the soy sauce packs and was kind of guilted (and hungered) into taking the food. I told her I had never paid for those in my life but she insisted! I've walked into the place one time since then and walked out again because she was behind the counter.

Don't judge a book by its cover

China Wok, when looking from the outside, seems quite ghetto and seems to be your usual greasy whatever chinese food. But we gave it a chance, and the delivery service was extremely fast (the delivery guy was even singing a little song when he brought the food to our door). We had wonton soup, general tso's tofu, sesame noodles (with delicious rich peanut-buttery sesame sauce), pork fried rice and chicken with mushrooms & broccoli, and we think it quite possibly was the best chinese food pretty much ever. all large size servings, all for under $30 bucks. plus free two liters of soda. not greasy (even the pork!), fresh, high quality vegetables and chicken... so good! the china wok guys need to get a new sign so folks know this is modern, delicious chinese food. on second thought, no. i'd like to keep this a secret.

    Best Value Chinese Eva

Never found a quality Chinese take out place in the east village since living here for 4 years. Stumbled across this place via menupages and am so impressed with their prices and quality. Just got delivery from them and it was 11p.m. Sunday night and it came in 20 minutes. Must try the crab rangoons, so good!

    Order From Them For Sure

The combination specials are amazing and cheap. For about $6.50 you get fried rice, an entree, and an eggroll. Amazing. The delivery guys are also really nice and you get your food incredibly fast. I definitely recommend this place.
