Best Chinese food in Mississauga
I have been to many Chinese restaurant in Mississauga, China Village has the best chinese food! Esp their General Tao chicken, Salt & Pepper shrimp, chicken wing, cantonese chow mein, ....the list can go on...they are so yummy and price is very reasonable with very big portions. The service is very good and they give very helpful tips. The atmosphere is very relaxing with very nice waitress.

Disappointing Lunch
I had lunch here and maybe "lunch rush" is to blame, but the food was almost inedible. The shrimp were undercooked, the sauce appeared to merely be water that leaked out during the cooking of the shrimp, and the lo mein noodles weren't stir fried at all, appeared to be just boiled noodles. Will never go back.

Good authentic Chinese food.
I'm American born Chinese and I have a lot of Chinese food - especially in the Chinatown area. This place is not much to look at but it is clean, service is good and personal and the food is very good. It's a little on the salty/savory side but that's what my palate likes. The fried rices and noodles are a bit on the well done side but again, that's what I like. My favorites are > The pork chops in pepper salt which are fried to a crisp and consistently lean (ok, maybe the fat has been fried off) > Any of the seasonal veggies sauteed in garlic (try snowpea shoots if in season or just spinach or whatever leafy green they have) > Fried rice with salted fish and chicken > General Tso's chicken (yes, I said General Tso's) - it's gooey but the sauce is tangy and has a good bite.

Yum!
I love the setting of this restaurant- for one thing it's CLEAN. They got a legitimate A on their health inspection whereas some places got Cs. It's great to relax in, they have booth seats at the side which are cool! So yeah, Atmostphere gets an A+ (: I think their food is delicious as well, sometimes when I get a craving for general tso's (which is wrong because i'm chinese) I'll head on over to China Village because you can actually taste the meat on their chicken! Other than that they're full of traditional Chinese fare as well- when I go there with my family we order on and off the menu and they're extremely compliant about it!
