    Nice chinese

Excellent quality but very pricey. Negatives: it is noisy and also small portions- you will walk out hungry unless you order many items.

China Grill not Bun Lai or Miya's Sushi!

Whenever I have fusion Asian like China Grill I can't help but compare it to a restaurant I used to frequent as an undergraduate at Yale. Firstly, China Grill is very good, albeit expensive but then all of New York is. In New Haven, I used to hang out with chef Bun Lai, the artist/mastermind/genius behind the cultishly famed Miya's Sushi, where everything is delectable almost beyond reason - because so many of the combinations of ingredients don't seem...reasonable. Anyway, a thumbs up for China Grill. Two thumbs for Miya's Sushi thay I miss more than I can say.

    Awesome food and service

The China Grill was the best place to have planned my bday dinner w/a big group. Everyone in our group loved the food including the Calamari Salad, Short Ribs appetizers. The Garlic Shrimp, Risotto, and Mushroom pasta were also big hits. The staff was very attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere is trendy and unique. Even though cocktails can get pricey, they were very delicious. It can get a bit loud, but still allows for good conversation. I'd definitely recommend this place for future outings.

    Never Disappoints!

The China Grill never disappoints...I have been there three times and am planning a fourth visit with out of town friends. The setting is very cosmopolitan and sleek. The room is large and multi -tiered and can be noisy so, if you want a quieter meal get a table in a rear corner. Cocktails are fun, if a bit pricey. The food is fab with the calamari salad a definite must have. The service is attentive and the host is charming and looks like a character from a movie. This is a don't miss place, treat yourself.

    Nothing spectacular

For the price I would expect something spectacular! Food is just ok and overpriced for the quality! Atmosphere is noisy and congested. The waiter that served us was mediocre at best, never checking on us once. Drinks are $13 and small. There is a bathroom attendant which is more night club style and a complete waste! Not classy! Why even have one? Portions are decent, but not for the price. I've been there twice now for company dinners. They are easy to get into and NEVER crowded. I'm surprised this place hasn't gone out of business yet.

    Hello!

This place is a gem. Everything from the food to the waitstaff is exquisite. I recommend the lobster pancakes, dumplings, and the calamari very highly. It was a bit pricey, $125 for 2, but it was worth it.

    Worth Spending Big Bucks

I took my best friend there for her birthday and it was excellento. The food/drinks/dessert were to good to be true. The owner came by 5 times to chat and made sure we were okay. The waitress was amazing. Overall I will defintely will go back to place and taste eveything from the menu. Kobe Beef and Calamari Salad I strongly recommend.
