    Consistently great

The food at the China Grill never lets you down. You can go any day of the week and it is consistently great. The staff is very attentive, polite and efficient. I try to make it in a couple of times a month.

    An Excellent Experience

Very hip establishment. I went to China Grill with a few friends, and we all simply loved it. The crispy spinach and the five vegetable fried rice were amazing. If you go, you must stay for dessert - Bananas in a Box and Chocolate Seduction are more then a safe bet.

    Spice up your night

I had the best ceaser salad, with the combination of crisp wantons, toasted cashews, and a slight sezt of spice. Service was good, and all the waiters are real new yorkers, and show great enthusiasm to work in such a lively up to date place. Very young and spunky place, with hip music. The tables are spread just enough so that you can actually hear yourself think. It was great! You should all take a trip to the spicy side of town!

    Beyond Chinese

The food and the service was excellent. The appetizers were large enough for 2 maybe 3 people and the entrees were more than sufficient for maybe 3 people.

    Simply Wonderful

My husband and I give this restaurant raves. The food, service and ambience are unparalled. Do not think by the name that it is Chinese food - this is an Asian infusion style resturant that, in my opinion, is unsurpassed. We went to the China Grill at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas two weeks ago and can't wait to go to the one in New York City. If you don't go you are only cheating yourself.

    Cracklin calamari salad

The best salad you will ever have. Nice atmosphere, plenty of skirts to look at. Expensive but worth it.

    Too Cool for School

Our waiter oozed scorn and could barely stand to wait on Restaurant Week patrons. The room is fun, though, and it's especially enjoyable watching the patrons and hosts who are so sexy they just can't stand themselves. It's a lot like Atlanta in there--big, new, sterile, brash, and nouveau riche. It's kind of hard to concentrate on the food because of all the boobs spilling out all over the place--and I'm a heterosexual chick. To be fair, the noodles, spring rolls, and the cream cheese mousse were excellent, and the bus people were really busting their humps. Try the Ravenswood Zinfandel, too. But beware the chicken entree, one of the worst dishes I've ever tasted. At first we thought it just needed some sauce, then we found the sauce at the bottom of the plate. It didn't need that sauce, that's for sure. The dish was accompanied by cabbage and onion rings, ingredients that have nothing in common except their low cost. You could probably have a good time, though, if you avoided this dish, put on your wonder-bra, and copped an attitude on the waiter before he could do the same to you.
