Chicken Noodle Soup not recommended
I love Chicken soup from Chinese restuarants (i..e Cantonese noodle soup with Roast chicken or mandarin shredded chicken soup). It was just the chicken they use to make stirfry sitting in water with scallions. No flavor or seasoning whatsoever. I'm sure the other food is fine. They should just take this off their menu.

Bargain in midtown
Fresh, good, tasty food. Just order your chicken well done and you should be satisfied.

Crinkle Cut Fries. Order Them. Love Them
A nice place for a first date. You can't beat the price and the quality is second only to the University of Virginia's football team. You will laugh, but order the crinkle cut french fries with your next order. You are welcome ahead of time.

Never a problem
I frequently order out from China Gourmet, and have never had a problem. The food is piping hot, fresh, and the shrimp and broccoli is outstanding, as is the shrimp with lobster sauce and the fried dumplings. They can hurry you sometimes on the phone, but they are always accurate, and the food comes FAST.

Poor Service
Very rude people, would never order again.

Perfect take away place
Consistently good food, made to order. A neighborhood favorite. Not a place I would dine in because it's small and always very busy, but it's great take out. Really inexpensive.

Trust the China Gormet
The locals love the chicken wings here but I am crazy about the steamed veggies in garlic sauce. You can have brown or white rice and the hot and sour soup is filled with tofu! This is the only chinese restaurant that I know of in the city that makes an Egg Foo Young worth traveling from down town to its midtown location. You can stay and eat but its more fun to take it home!
