This place used to have the only decent Dim Sum and Cantonese-style food on the UES. But the quality has gone way downhill lately ... Very bland the last couple of times I've tried it. Might be that they're trying to do too much, adding that whole Japanese side to their menu. The new people on the phone seem to be nicer now, although they messed up my delivery order.

I don't dine in but get delivery on the weekends a lot at this restaurant. they have nice chinese brunch on sat and sundays. They have the best soymilk and small delictables that i miss from home. I would suggest the sweet hot soymilk and rice ball stuffed with dried meat, and minced pork congee. They are not comparable to what the originals really taste like, but it's still good for what we have in nyc. worth a try!

China Fun has always been our menu for an enjoyable late afternoon luncheon. The service needs to be slowed down a little. They are too quick to turn over the table. The food is okay not great. The price is very reasonable and the portions are okay. Lately, the place seems empty in the afternoons. So, I've skipped stopping in. What's up at ChinaFun?

Ordering from China Fun is quite unpleasant. The person taking your order on the phone is unpleasant, then it doesnt seem to matter how much you tip the delivery people, they are even nastier than the phone people. Do you want that attitude preparing your food? I just cant put up with them anymore- there is better value in the neighborhood.

Used to have China Fun delivered to me all the time until one of their delivery guys made a comment about his tip. Don't get me wrong but the food is tasty. I live exactly a block away and on a $15 bill, I gave the guy $2 and change but to my suprise he said that wasn't enough. I finally wound up giving him an add'l $.50 and he still made a face. Nowadays, I either order and have it picked up or wait there for takeout. Those delivery guys need a serious attitude adjustment.

We've loved China Fun for years, the food has always been tasty and a good value even with the recent price hikes. But we never get delivery anymore because the delivery staff is so rude. We regularly give a $3 plus change tip on a $17 delivery order and they openly sneer and curse to show how digusted they are, I guess they won't have to worry about our "bad" tipping anymore because we now order from someplace else!
