    Rude Delivery guys

Thank god im not the only one who noticed how unpleasant these delivery guys are! The place is literally a block away from me and these guys still roll their eyes or grunt at my tip which is more than adequate. The unfair prices for mediocre chinese chain food do not merit such grief.

only thing consistent is rude delivery

Marginally better than the normal greasy Chinese take out, this place is strictly nothing special at high rent prices(the standard UWS blight). Across the board inconsistentcies with the food make it a spin the wheel type of dining experience. When eating in, standard Chinese restaurant rules apply for decor & service. Adding any extra words like "no sugar" or "spicy" generally degrades both the service and your meal. Delivery nightmare is a blessing in disguise, as just one or two encounters is enough to put you off takeout saving you money, regret, and grief. Bottom line: you could do worse and you could do better but best bet is to skip this place and head downtown, if not, then at the very least don't add words, pick it up, and have low expectations firmly in place.

    Unpleasant Sushi

Subpar experience. My yellowtail sashimi had bones, the salmon was not fresh. The service was horrible, they did not apology and charged me for the food sent back.

    Expensive for what it is.

You shouldnt have to ask for napkins and utensils when you order take out or delivery but MAKE SURE YOU DO! you think with the money you shell out they would provide them....think again. food isnt bad just ok.

Fast, cheap and very decent food

This place is not Mr. K's or anything but it is one of the only take out Chinese restaurants I order from (unless I feel like Shun Lee). If you are looking for decent 'regular' Chinese food that is fresh with nothing fancy, this is the place. I will add that I stick to my usual so I'm not reviewing this restaurant based on the entire menu. I always order the Sesame Chicken, white meat only, along with an occassion appetizer...I also tend to feel like that Sex and the City episode when Miranda was ordering the same thing all the time, but that s another story (anyway, for anyone that watches it you know what I'm talking about). I've never been disappointed. The person that takes the orders is really nice and delivery is super fast!

    Poor Service and Food

I stopped in around 9 PM 3/11 because I was in the area. I asked for chicken and broccoli and for it to be made spicy. When the waitress was bringing the dish over to me she noticed just by looking that it was not spicy as I had asked and brought it back to the kitchen. I really hate when this happens because usually they'll just throw it back in the wok with some hot sauce, and you wind up with less sauce than was in the original dish. When she brought it back to me, well, the amount of sauce was adequate but it was not good. It was sweet!! I know that garlic sauce is sweet, but traditional brown sauce should not be sweeteven though there is sugar in the recipe. Anyway, she gave me a tiny amount of white rice and so I needed more. Of course, I couldn't flag her down because she was busy setting up other tables and would not look over to the people eating. I finally had to signal to the men at the front to get their attention. She brought the rice. When she brought me the check, I was charged extra for the rice. I know this is not unusual, but it really bothers me when they haven't given you enough rice to begin with. When I tried to get her to take my cash for the check - you guessed it - she was not around. I know that service is hit or miss at many places. But the sweet sauce was not good and the prices were high!

    Good cantonese soup...

If you are looking for tasty, basic soups, I would suggest the Mandarin Noodle soups. They get the job done on a cold night. I was very disappointed with the hot and sour soup and the chow fun (no flavor which I find surprising for a chinese restaurant). The Chick and Broc was fine. I will think twice before ordering (delivery) again.
