We ordered China Fun again the other night, because there's so little good Chinese food above 72nd Street on the West Side, and China Fun has a nice reputation, so fine, we'll try it once more. What we got: hard wontons in our soup; flavorless mei fun stirfry with supermarket-brand-caliber pasta passing as the "rice noodle"--they even said "rice noodle" on the phone--and generally mediocre dumplings, spare ribs and an egg roll. And to top it off, the food was loaded with MSG. I didn't sleep a wink that night. This array of disappointment cost us $36, including a $2 delivery charge undisclosed when we ordered. I could have gotten twice as much food for less money from most other UWS Chinese places, and they all would have tasted better. We have thrown out our China Fun delivery menu.

We tried this because it had Dim Sum - the food was okay; the prices were what we expected on the Upper West Side. The service and atmosphere (the place seems a little dark and greasy) were a minus, but the Kung Pao and BBQ Pork Rolls were great!

I thought even bad Chinese food was still pretty good, until I ordered takeout from China Fun. The chicken with cashew nuts was just that -- chicken with cashew nuts (no veggies, nada), and it wasn't even GOOD chicken with cashew nuts. The rest of our meal was chewy and tasteless. The soup dumplings were the only good thing about the meal, and I think maybe that's a fluke. We won't order from them again.

We have been going here since it opened. It used to be very good, but now has become worse. Roast Duck floating in fat, Soy Sauce Chicken over cooked and dry as a bone. We called to complain about very bad delivery food and they were not interested. They just said "no one else complained, goodbye."

for regular chinese food- this is the greatest pick on the uws - not greasy and fresh.

Wow! What can I say? The prices are way up compared to other better chinese places. The delivery guys are a disgrace. The bill came to 21.78 and I gave him a 50. He asked me how much I want back? How about my change!! I gave him 3.50 and he tossed the change at me and left. What a complete jerk! I went to the store to complain and they told me I must have ordered from somewhere else. These people are a joke.

Over $10 for an entree is not a great value for chinese food. Period.
