Above Average For Sure
There's alot of really sketchy chinese spots in brooklyn. This place though is pretty legit. I'm not skeptical of the quality of food, and portion size is good. Usually get the chicken and broccoli and dumplings. The guy who answers the phone for delivery is pretty funny."Hello! Where are you? What you want? OK Bye!"

Fast, fresh and tasty
I eat lots of chinese food. I've never ever had a consistent chinese food place due to quality except for this one. This place is always good...theyre cheap, their vegetables are almost always fresh (cant be perfect), and theyre fast. I love the spring rolls that actually have shitake mushrooms in them. Cant say that for many other chinese food joints. Their dumplings are amazing, and have the perfect amount of grease and porkiness. I would call my self a sauce man, and this place has some pretty darn good brown sauce. Word.

"not great" must be a mistake
the guy who wrote the review about tiny portions and greasy veggies is either lying or he has the restaurant confused. china express has HUGE portions, uses soy bean oil, and steams the veggies.

Love this place!
The portions are huge and the food is really good (and fresh). I order from them on a regular basis.

not great
I gave this place a try because it was around the corner and it had a good review- big mistake. I ordered Beef Chow Fun- had more onions than noodles and almost no beef (or flavor other than onion); MuShu Pork- this was just weird... the pork was sort of breaded, the cabbage was almost raw and it came with the tiniest side of plum sauce I'd ever seen; and Sauteed Broccoli- pretty much boiled broccoli that was SWIMMING in oil. no joke. Out of curiosity, I poured the oil into a measuring cup: 1/3 cup of oil in a 1/2 pint order of broccoli.

purty good
I've been a customer of theirs for years and I've never been let down. The food is always fresh, delivery is decently prompt and the atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty peaceful.
