I , being a new york city concierge in a large hotel, like to try different locations of thai food. This place was disappointing! I ordered the chicken with basil and got a strange non basil dish. The menu offered salad or soup. When I tried to order the soup, the server informed it was not the season?? I then ordered the basil chicken and it came without basil. I asked for fresh basil, which they brought out and informed me it would be $1.00 extra.

Based on recent reviews, I was prepared for a really uplifting dining experience. That didn't happen. Food was good, but I have had better Thai in NYC. Larb salad was pleasant, as were noodle dish and red curry. Attentive service, but small tables and crowded. I'll try other Thai places on 9th before returning here.

Great food... Cozy atmosphere... Friendly service... and very reasonably priced for Thai food!

this is by far the best thai food i have had in nyc. the seating is really tight because it is a "hole in the wall" so you will have to wait a while, but the quality of the food was worth the wait! Plus, the owners are very courteous :)

The food is really delicious, the portions are good, the staff is friendly, very cost-effective considering that it is in NYC. The space crunch is something i am sure the staff and customers coud do without, but given the awesome food, i guess it can be overlooked. Cant wait to go back there. Decor cud use a slight uplift, but again, at the end of the day, it is all about the food... Highly recommended. Cheers.

Early Saturday evening, tiny place, not busy, very personal service, great food, reasonably priced. We will definitely tell our friends back home to visit this restaurant when they come to town.

I've had lunch approximately 5 times here and every time, the service is prompt and friendly, the restaurant is spotless, the food is fresh and flavorful. You can't go wrong. The Red Curry is spicy, the jasmine rice is steamed properly and it's the perfect dish. I've also had the noodle dishes and was pleasantly pleased. Since they've redecorated about a month or so ago, the ambience has improved and it feels more relaxing.
