Chicken Kitchen is the BOMB!! The best and most reasonable take out restaurant in Manhattan!

I guess they don't like credit cards
Tried to place a $40 take out order - but the credit card machine is consistently down. Sorry for them. I may re-consider my 10 years of patronage.

Is this a recession or what???
I have ordered from this place for over ten years. I order take out, since the place is scary inside. The chicken is great, but the portions and quality of some ingredients has dropped off recently. Must be the recession.

careless
They started by delivering cold food. Then I realized that they forgot part of my order after the delivery guy had left. I wouldn't have cared, but it wasn't that cheap, and it was not good.

Great, Easy, Filling Take Out
This place is mainly known for its cult popularity status in South Florida, but this location on E 62nd is the original and first Chicken Kitchen! Albeit its very different from the chain from the menu to the decor, the basics are the same. The atmosphere is kinda drecky, but its mainly for take out - so who cares right? Great, high quality tasty food! Amazing place to go when your hungry and don't want to make dinner a big deal!

Boney Chop Chop
Based on the reviews below I got the chicken chop chop with honey mustard. $8 is way overpriced for what you get, a cut up chicken over iceburg with tomato slices and rice. The chicken was moist and well-cooked, but the honey mustard was watery and I spent the entire meal picking bones out of my mouth. Would not go back unless I wanted a whole chicken for some reason.
