Brooklyn's Best!
Chez Oskar was and is the most amazing experience not even including the outstanding food and great customer service! Its the complete package and truly the best 1st choice to dine in any occasion. Walking in they have mastered a warmth and an at home feeling The wait staff are really nice and attentive. I ordered the New York Grilled Salmon (medium-well), Garlic Mash potatoes and Brussel Sprouts. The salmon was grilled and seasoned to perfection and mash Potatoes so moist. Ive never even eaten Brussel Sprouts and they were so tasty, I loved it!

Lamb is finger licking good!
The cook did a phenominal job on the domestic lamb shank! The meat was tender and it fell right of the bones! The squash and the spinach were made to perfection. Kudos the the cook and the Resturant. Will definately go back!

Love the Brunch
Had the eggs benedict! My favorite brunch dish. It was made perfectly. I also had a mojito (not a good mix) but the drink was delicious. Just should not have eaten eggs with it. Will go back again.

Unpleasant experience
We had one of the worst brunches ever here! I had eggs Benedict, the sauce was almost slimy, the eggs hard and overcooked and the muffin totally burnt. The waitress made it very clear she couldn't care less and told me I should never expect good poached eggs from a busy kitchen! Wow! What incentive is there for us to go back? We live real close to Dekalb and the great news is that there are SO many really good restaurants with nice staff who care that we just never have to go to this place again.

Neighborhood gem
Wow! I was a little skeptical after reading so many mixed reviews but we just had a delicious meal. Cute space. Lamb shank and cassoulet were the highlights. Not the best french food I've ever had in New York but certainly very, very good and worth the trip. The service was also very accommodating. Our waitress was really helpful and when she made a slight mistake, went above and beyond to the rectify the situation. Yuuuum!

everyday kinda place
We love Chez Oskar- worth the trip just for the steak tartar. Its a good value, especially if you try and have some appetizers as entrees (they can be quite large). Also all-you-can-eat mussels night is a favorite. Try and sit outside in the summers and bring your dog.

Good food
Stopped by on a Friday afternoon. Restaurant not busy, so service was good and prompt. Enjoyed the mojito. Lamburger seasoned well, nice crunchy fries. Would return, although a bit overpriced.
