    Love this place!

I went to Chez Lucienne shortly after it opened. I was so excited to see a new restaurant open up on Lenox Ave. The staff were so attentive and welcoming. Very professional and dedicated to pleasing the customer. The food was delightful - priced a little high for the neighborhood but comparable with other restaurants in the city. I had a wonderful experience here and this is one of my favorite local spots. I love the cafe seating they have outdoors, though the intersection of 125th & Lenox is not the most outdoor dining friendly corner with all of the auto and foot traffic going by.

    Great addition to neighborhood!

Wonderful food - have been several times and taken many friends and family. All have really liked entire experience! Really great food, prepared very well and good variety. Loved the atmosphere - outdoor seating and open doors onto Lenox add a really nice touch. Highly recommend!

    Great Spot in Harlem

I am very happy this place seems do be doing well. It is a great addition to the neighborhood. The food truly is done well (the burger and tuna tartar are fantastic), and the atmosphere is very inviting. They are going through some growing pains with a few of the wait staff, and the bartenders seem to change out after a few weeks, but as far as a nice place to eat in this part of Harlem, I don't think you can do any better.

    A downtown restaurant uptown

I am among the most critical diners I know, and here are the reasons I love this restaurant and continue to go: 1. The food is incredible. 2. The prices are unbelievably low. 3. I feel like an American expat in Paris when I'm there. 4. I don't have to spend 40 minutes on the train coming home after dinner! I strongly recommend the tuna tartare, scallops, and the blueberry tart.

    Pretty good

I went w/ my coworkers there for lunch on one of the days when we work uptown and they are enamored w/ the food. I had the salmon which was served on brioche as a sandwich, it comes w/ a salad and home made spicy potato chips. The salmon was fresh and cooked perfectly. It's a good sized serving, I couldn't finish the bread. My coworker is still dreaming about the burger. She is plotting a way for someone to travel uptown and bring it to her back here in Tribeca. The service is very attentive, though it may be because we were one of only 2 tables there for lunch. Remember you must preface all orders w/ 'Le' in a French accent. I order the Salmon and he corrected me and said 'Le Sauman'.

    A favorite

Well, it's French, and the service is the type of "French" not best known for care... (It's a very true bistro). Still, they try, and they try. Which I appreciate. Been there several times, and will keep going back. I want the rough spots to be worked through, and the pace of improvement is slow, but, I do love this place. The food is terrific, particularly for the prices, and especially for the location. This is a very special spot. They have a ways to go, but, it's a lovely place with great food, and I am thankful to have yet another great restaurant in Harlem. Do go.

    Great addition to the neighborhood

Finally a French restaurant in Harlem. Great food at great value. I love the tuna tartar, the coq au vin and the grilled salmon. Also they have this homemade ice cream called nougatine, so delicious. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff, I am so happy that this place opened up in the heart of Harlem. We needed it.
